There was actually an interview conducted with Brave Bros and they asked if he had a good song, would he give it to SISTAR or After School and he said SISTAR. I'm not trying to start any fanwars but that's how it really is. And besides, Brave Bros has this really SIMILAR SOUND throughout all his works. Just look at SISTAR's Alone, Dazzling Red's This Person, SISTAR19's Gone Not Around Any Longer, Teen Top's Miss Right. Before that there was this sound throughout SISTAR's SO COOL, Brave Girls's Nowadays You. Honestly, Brave Bros can be stuck IN-THING for sometime. Of course, I'd be pleasantly surprised and most welcoming if he breaks through his current sound JUST FOR After School. And I pray and hope so but Im sceptical about it. I don't want people to say After School is singing something SISTAR sings whatnot. and well I really REALLY loved SISTAR19's and Tene Top's latest songs so...I dunno how this will go. Loving is one thing, but seeing your ultimate fav group singing something made by a producer who doesnt really care and uses the same repeated sounds IS gonna hurt.

^It's true, but i hope he can make something like “Ah“, “Diva“, or “Because of You“.
If he makes something a la SISTAR i could love it or hate it !!

then we can all just watch After School get compared to EVERYWHERE.

BUT BUT BUT

There is a hope. Just look at Dambi's Dripping Tears. That song is the closest thing Brave Bros has made since Because Of You. Albeit a little weak in the melody side, I hope it'll be something along those lines. Something special.

To be honest, I find myself not really caring about this full length Japanese album even though I love Orange Caramel. I guess I just really want to see something from After School and not from the sub-unit. Also, this album is basically 90% previous singles and Korean remakes anyways. I want to have it for my collection but I'm not really excited about it...

I just hope the song will be like Ah or Because of You and not anything like SISTAR's songs. Although I really like SISTAR :D

Actually I find it so peculiar why they are still recording. Firstly the single was supposed to be released about 5 months ago. Uee had mentioned 7 months ago that they were training for a routine of some sort. And then, months ago, we've also news of them recording as well. And now they are STILL recording. I wonder what's happening. It tends to always be happening for AS. Back then before Bang! was released, there was suppose to be a Brave Bro's session in progress but I think that song has never came to light. Just hoping their comeback won't just involve a song. I don't want it to mean that just because Kahi left, AS wont be giving anymore unique performances :(

it's like a special ORANGE CARAMEL talk show recorded exclusively as a DVD content, so unless you understand Japanese, I would probably go with either type A or type C :)

It's rumored that After School will come back to my country after 5 months since their last visit ^_^ though it's not 100% confirmed yet. The exact date is May 19. I wonder if at that time they will be promoting their comeback song!

i mean, right after LIPSTICK they dived into Japanese singles and albums. there's just no time for After School's comeback.
U-ie has so many shows on her own like Jeon Woo Chi and now Barefoot Friends. She has her own spotlight to keep as well (and Pledis gave her an official FB too...so it says a lot about her as an artiste)

HELLOVENUS only came back after half a year which isnt too much but I do have this feeling, the nicer, more mainstream songs are going to them as well as NU'EST. Seeing Do You Want to Have Tea? (HELLOVENUS) and Hello (NU'EST), these 3rd-comeback-songs show maturity in music style. Well, so did After School's 3rd-comeback-song which was Because of You. And now they're upcoming comeback is a collaboration with Brave Bros again, which could really either go really well or...weird since Brave Bros has been lacking in the originality department since 2009 (despite still having new songs).

Personally, I think one problem AS is facing is the image issue. Few days ago, I can't help but feel that with Kahi gone, it's as though a pillar is missing. Yes it's been a year and I still feel that way. With the strongest dancer gone, I just can't help it. And another thing is MUSIC style. since 2010, AS has been working with different composers. Compare this to many other groups like Secret, SISTAR, 9Muses, who have stuck with one composer and style for years, crafting out a special sound. I feel AS still lacks that. It has its pros and cons of course, because it just leaves us having no idea what to expect.

True, almost forgot about Orange Caramel. And I agree about UEE :yes

I can't believe that Flashback was released on June 20th 2012... That's almost 11 months ago and still nothing from After School.

Then Orange Caramel released LIPSTICK and Yasashii Akuma in September 2012. And Lamu No Love Song in December 2012. And their Japanese album in March 2013 and now that colloboration song with 10cm. :bsigh

The thing that I don't think Pledis understands is that many if not all of Orange Caramel's fans are fans because they liked After School first. Not everybody's favorite members are Raina, Nana, or Lizzy. For me personally, my favorite member of After School is Lizzy, and even I'm getting sick of seeing just Orange Caramel being promoted. I miss Kaeun, Uee, Jungah... :weep

After School is a flagship group for Pledis. I don't get why they're tossing them to the side.

maybe because...AS hasnt been getting THE attention they deserve. or it could just be Pledis wants fans to crave for them for a year. I realize its been like that since Bang!. Maybe because AS is training so hard for a routine. Maybe because AS being AS, members will graduate eventually so Pledis wants them to venture into other areas WHILE pursuing their AS career.

To me, it's starting to feel like, because of a few member's popularity and solo works, the group is getting undermined. And this isnt just something AS is going thru, Im sure many other idol groups, whose members have solo activities, end up delaying their comeback time and time again. All we could do is wait and really hope they come back with a strong performance. I hope we get something amazing once again, from the drumline, tap dance and the rod/stick dance.

Almost 1 year without After School, E-young, Juyeon ,Jungah and Kaeun got many vacations, XD, they should do another sub-unit.
Lizzy, Nana and Raina were busy with Orange Caramel and UEE is always doing tv performances.

The fact that only Jung-A, Nana, and Uee got solo teasers makes me think that the next leader of After School will undoubtedly be Nana or Uee. I wonder how they decided who would be in what picture with whom. Feels kind of random putting Lizzy and Kaeun together, but I love it 'cause Lizzy and Kaeun are two of my favorite members in AS.

Yeah, you're right. Nana in particular is very popular. Everyone loves her even if they don't know or like AS. I guess it was smart to put AS Blue together, but it kind of undermines Jooyeon imo seeing as she's been in the group for just as long as Jungah and yet her visibility is equal to someone who has only been in the group for two years. Idk, they still look awesome, though, so I guess it doesn't matter. :shrug
