OMG!!!!!! I love petal most!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This song reminds me of mixing Pride and Marionette~~~~the astomphere this song creates, her voice and emotion are stunning!!!!!! "LOVE again" is one of her masterpiece IMO Songs form minis I enjoy a lot, and now I am totally in love with all new tracks!!!!!!! |

Wow, petal is really touching. So bittersweet. The arrangements on this album are so damn nice hah ♥ The guitar was a really nice surprise. And the exotic sounding tune whenever a verse starts is an interesting crazy touch :) And the ending "music box" style.

meaning they pay another company to plaster their trucks with advertisements. I'm actually kinda surprised more people dont do that in big cities in america... you see tons of cars, but never any big trucks like in tokyo |

Bye-bye darling is boring for the chorus. I'd must rather listen to Sending mail. Hell, I'd rather listen to the whole Love songs album over LOVE again. I remember when Love songs was announce, everyone thought it'd be ballads, but it wasn't all ballads. This is how Love songs would have sounded if that were the case. (well on the other hand, I hated Sending mail's hectic chorus at start too)
All in all, LOVE again is the watered down, less "masterpiece" version of Love songs... I'll let the album sink in, but Love songs as whole is clearly the stronger contender here. I kinda felt like Love songs had great verses and builds but less exciting choruses at first. But never-the-less, this is my first impression of LOVE again. Wake me up and Missing are the only TRUE "masterpieces". |

His own face, obvs. That aside, some people have just really particular tastes. Hard to please, but that's not a bad thing. I can see how people wouldn't be too happy about LOVE again's sound, since Love songs is in itself pretty polarizing and this is shaping up to be similar.

petal sounds like a mixture of Pride and alan's 悲しみは雪に眠る, as well as a hint of Marionette in there. Except I do not particularily enjoy Pride, and that Marionette and alan's song are both better than Petal.
If you haven't heard alan's song, take a listen: It's hauntingly beautiful and tragically sad. |

lol i actually also never was a huge fan of sending mail or Last angel, they're just blaah for my ears xD actually i got borred of Love songs really quick, i can't say i would want to listen to any of the tracks on it on repeat, not even november or love song which i really enjoyed at first, i got tireed of the whole album after 3 times of listening to it, plus i wasn't really into her vocals there at all... :innocent
this one i dunno i love the arangements, most are really rich in instruments, which i love and ayu's vocals are one of her bests on this: it sounds mature, soft , but powerful and has gorgeous vibrato. PQ & this deffinitelly gets a 10/10 on vocals. Love songs...i don;t know if it would go over 5 lol i need to hear Gloria, cuz i don't even remeber what it sounds like anymore xD |
In most of the songs from A Song of XX her voice is to much like a bird chirping outside your window when you're trying to sleep. That's why having the songs remixed in ayu-mix and ayu-ro mix is a must for me.

I mean the A BALLADS version of A SONG FOR XX sounds amazing! i bet lots of songs from here earlier albums would sound great with her curent vocals if done right.

i dont really like bye bye darling or petal the verses aren't that good neither is the chorus exciting. even sakuras verses are not good but the chorus is ok. i dont like love again as an album, i think ayu needs to stop singing weak sick love songs and do something like my names woman or microphone, i need something to catch my attention or a love song that is strong and powerfull

untitled for her story 2 is one of those songs where the music itself can paint a story to me. It's so beautiful, the way it progresses. From that painful feeling to one that is more hopeful. Thinking how this song is rumoured to be for that fan who passed away really makes it heart-wrenching.
