For this year , the show commemorates its 60th anniversary since its launch . For this year , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara will be hosted by ARASHI's Sakurai Sho . Just like NTV's annual telethon 24-Hour Television , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara has also something planned in their annual special music program . The broadcast network plans to hold a survey that is related to the theme of the year , masterpieces chosen from the survey will be introduced . Except in this case , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara started airing yesterday from 10.30am until 10.54pm Japan time . DAIGO performed around 9.20pm+ or so , alongside with Kanjani∞'s Nishikido Ryo & THE ALFEE's Takamizawa Toshihiko . Each of them played the guitar & sang The ALFEE's 17th single Hoshizora no Distance (星空のディスタンス) . Hoshizora no Distance is considered as The ALFEE's signature song . TOKIO's bassist Yamaguchi Tatsuya was the 1 whom requested the song to be performed because he sang it in karaoke with MABO . And seeing DAIGO playing the electric guitar while singing was so cool ! It was a rare treat since for obvious reasons , he doesn't play the guitar in BREAKERZ which he rather leave that aspect to both AKIHIDE & SHINPEI to handle :D Let alone he looked so gorgeous too *__* |

Uwa DAIGO's hairstyle is so nice *____* & the PV concept of Itsumo Dakishimete is based upon a road trip date with a girlfriend , how cute xD The hairstyle that DAIGO has in those scenes of him wearing white - *___* Itsumo Dakishimete is definitely very different from what Mugen∞REBIRTH offers & that's what I like about double A-side singles from the guys as it allows them to showcase different music style with 2 different PVs . Before DAIGO made his solo debut as DAIGO☆STARDUST 10 years ago , he actually released a couple of indie releases & let's just say that at that time , both the image(s) + singing voice of pre DAIGO☆STARDUST were really really really bad xD

@_@ @_@ @_@ Wow oh wow , nostalgic much DAIGO ? xD & yes I personally have both indie singles of The space toy & The space kiss (which I received on Thurs) but I didn't know that DAIGO actually released 3 indie singles in total (all the while I thought it was 2) & that goes for a mini album too . But man I thought the images DAIGO☆STARDUST portrayed were scary but pre debut is much much more up there ? o_O Most of the songs that DAIGO recorded before his solo debut , ended up in DAIGO☆STARDUST's official discography & for me to listen to those songs , they sound like a completely different person . DAIGO's singing voice at that time was really bad if not very raw/hoarse/poor . He definitely has improved his singing voice a great deal over the past 11-12 years but it feels so strange for me to listen to these songs right now after all these years :O Ironically , the songs that didn't ended up in DAIGO☆STARDUST's official discography are somewhat the better sounding ones out of the lot , such as for Aoi Kaze . Animal Creep is actually not bad but Bluzy Night doesn't make any single sense to me xD On the other hand , those songs which were eventually included in DAIGO☆STARDUST's official discography , the pre debut versions are just really terrible . Case in point , I really like Feather + ASH&DIAMONDS but the pre debut versions for both songs are just very hard for me to swallow :x Also it's interesting that in The space toy indie single , under the credits section , it wasn't credited as DAIGO but instead it's written as 大湖 . Same pronunciation but different in writing . It's only in The space kiss indie single , it was credited as DAIGO☆STARDUST . With that said , when I saw/read this link , it was quite ... educational ? haha DAIGO has definitely come a long way that's for sure :) |

DAIGO - MUSIC LAUNCHER aired a much more longer PV preview for Mugen∞REBIRTH in which it looks really really top notch . The budget is definitely much higher than any of DAIGO☆STARDUST's PVs haha AKIHIDE - Hoshi no Kyousoukyoku PV snippet was aired SHINPEI - Runner's High live performance snippet was aired , which was recorded from MUSCLE ATTACK's 1st live performance MUSCLE ATTACK LIVE ~Basic Training vol.1~ that took place on 11th May / SHINPEI's 32nd birthday at Tokyo's Roppongi morph-tokyo MUSCLE ATTACK LIVE ~Basic Training vol.2~ will be taking place this coming Fri at Tokyo's Shibuya Chelsea Hotel :) |

MARIA was the only song in DAIGO☆STARDUST's discography that wasn't composed by DAIGO . Instead , the song was composed by his Kami-sama / god (and no it's neither yasu and/or hyde) in the form of the legendary Himuro Kyosuke , who was the lead singer of BOŘWY . BOŘWY is cited as 1 of DAIGO's main music influence so it makes a lot of sense for DAIGO to continue to hold Himuro Kyosuke in so much high regard even up to now . I must say if not admit that when I 1st started in BREAKERZ's fandom some 5 years ago , I knew nothing about DAIGO's past , likewise for the rest & their story backgrounds . Only much later on when I discovered much more , wow I had quite a big shock or 2 . For a moment I thought to myself was this the same person to begin with ? I also recalled saying that I would never try DAIGO☆STARDUST's music & looking back , it was quite a silly if not stupid statement I made as now I enjoy DAIGO's solo music tremendously as much as BREAKERZ . I guess I was really put off by the various terrible/crazy/questionable images that DAIGO☆STARDUST portrayed ? xD [cough ROCK THE PLANET , cough Eien no Space Cowboy cough] But once I got past that , everything else's secondary & listening to both DAIGO☆STARDUST + BREAKERZ made me realised that all the while , the main core if not charm in DAIGO is still there . DAIGO then & now , he never changed at all personality wise . Be it whether he was DAIGO☆STARDUST and/or in BREAKERZ , he still did everything on his own , from writing to composing all his own material & that goes for producing too . But of course image wise , it's a total different thing altogether xD xD xD It's just a huge pity that chart success wise , DAIGO☆STARDUST basically had none which's so unfortunate as he genuinely has really great songs in his solo discography . Heck , even DAIGO said himself at that time , nobody knew what was he trying to portray xD & for him to have a sense of humour in something no matter how bleak things might be , that's something I really respect if not admire of him as I myself ain't able to do that . But at the end of the day , looking back at things , I can see that DAIGO has really come such a long way & for him to be still in the business from when he was 19 til now , it ain't easy . Let alone , success only came knocking at his door when he was 30 & I know at that time when he was still DAIGO☆STARDUST , he wanted to reveal about his late grandpa but he chose not to , only until he turned 30 which became a 'last resort' for him xD All in all , happy belated 10th anniversary DAIGO☆STARDUST , stay spacey always (≧▽≦) & your solo music still lives on up to now ♥ |

YouTube streaming - DAIGO's Mugen∞REBIRTH PV (Short Ver.)
Less than a week before DAIGO's debut solo single Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen∞REBIRTH gets released & yesterday , the guys's official YouTube site has uploaded a 1:29 min clip with regards to the short version of DAIGO's Mugen∞REBIRTH PV ! As expected , the short version of Mugen∞REBIRTH looks great & definitely a much more higher budget has been given to it too , unlike for Itsumo Dakishimete (with it being much more down to earth if not simplify) . And it's kinda obvious somewhat that BREAKERZ's backup bassist MATSU can be seen at the back of the PV backdrop :D although I'm not really feeling MATSU's hairdo that much :x That said , DAIGO looks really hot if not great . Who knew he's able to rock blue coloured streaks on his hair & can get away with it ? xD I so can't wait for Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen∞REBIRTH to get released now omg |

As uploaded via JIJIPRESS's YouTube , in which they've uploaded a 1:01 min clip of concert snippet footages from last Fri's sold out Kaette Yuku DAIGO☆STARDUST that took place on 26th July at Shibuya Public Hall In the footages itself , you can see 2 outfits that DAIGO☆STARDUST used to wear in his early days & that includes his But obviously the main emphasis of songs in the short video clip is on both Mugen∞REBIRTH & Itsumo Dakishimete as both songs were sung by DAIGO as the last 2 tracks in the setlist for Kaette Yuku DAIGO☆STARDUST :D That said , doesn't DAIGO☆STARDUST look great on his final comeback sold out concert ? DAIGO P just finished earlier on & DAIGO played both the FULL PVs of Itsumo Dakishimete / Mugen ∞REBIRTH As expected , the full PV of Itsumo Dakishimete was amazing & so's Mugen ∞REBIRTH ! The full version of both songs are fantastic but PV wise , Itsumo Dakishimete is just so sweet beyond words omg I so want to go on a PG rated date with DAIGO but too bad that only happens in reel life for him :x Mugen ∞REBIRTH was very good too , super entertaining if not having a much higher budget than Itsumo Dakishimete . They should have included more shots of Black DAIGO xD As for the 2013 version of Daisy , gorgeous beyond words ! Amazing single DAIGO , I so can't wait to get my copies & utterly proud of you for coming so far from then til now :heart |
