Hey, I heard preview of HOTEL, but what's this about there also being one of Money In My Bag? Where is it?

Something tells me Money in my bag is going to be bling bling bling episode 2.

I love this woman so much, she's like a fine wine atm, the older the better, with each release I'm afraid it won't be good (because recently I have loved everything she did so I pesimistically expect a drop) but it's usually either really good or perfect <3

Seems to be doing well on mu-mo so far! Hope it can outsell Summer Trip and Dreaming Now! :)

I think the single will do better than Summer Trip. She's not half naked in the cover, the main song is a midtempo, and the upbeat/sexy(?) video is only for the FC and probably won't be on TV during the promotion time. Not sure if has a chance of being a hit or something, since there is no tie-in again (so far).

Hopefully she can perform on Music Station again. She hasn't been there since performing Lovely in Feb 2013. I don't think they even sent flowers to the BV tour but I'm not sure about that.

^Really? BON VOYAGE IS AWESOME!! It's listed in one of my top favorite albums from her, and choosing a favorite from Kuu is a hard one for me. My lowest ranking one is Trick though. However only cause of TAC being on it. The rest of it I ADORE TO PIECES.

^Trick is a love hate album for me. It has those kickass songs like taboo, driving, and this is not a love song, but then it has those typical ballads that aren't related to the theme of the album or the rest of the songs that Japan has to have or else they'll explode like Moon crying, ai no kotoba, and stay with me.

I'm the complete opposite, haha. Bon Voyage is my least favorite album from her. TRICK, on the other hand is flawless (that was my first Kumi album and the album that made me stand Kuu).

Any chances Kuu might pop up at a-nation' this year or is it too late already for her to announce any dates?

Kuu has her tour final in Taiwan when a-nation island takes place between 08.14-08.20. That's probably why she isn't there this year.
And for the other three a-nation dates in Tokyo at the end of August or the ones in Taiwan and Singapore there's nothing scheduled for her so far.
Maybe she will be announced. But with such a long tour ahead, a pause for her might be just right.

^ Oh, I see :/ It's fair enough she doesn't perform there this year, I can forgive her hahahaha <3 But I bet she won't stop at all for long, in August there's the single release and I expect her to do some live promotion. Not heavily, but still, she loves Summer and surely won't miss the chance to enjoy it while promoting HOTEL

HOTEL sounds awesome. I'm actually happy that there's no pop rock song this year. She has had those so much in recently that leaving those out is a good idea imo. I have nothing against Kuu doing rock, but it's not my favorite genre anymore. I want more electro and R&B. Those are my favorite genres. :D

And again, I completely forgot a-nation this year. Same happened in 2012, and it was all because Kuu wasn't there performing. She's the only reason I check that one out. And usually I only do that for Kuu's part only because there are some performers there that I can't stand at all.

EDIT: I could see that Heat was supposed to be the A-Side of that single, if one were to simply look at just the cover. It looks like what I would imagine the Heat PV to look like.

I do know Heat was supposed to be a single instead of Chase, but they changed their mind and decided to make it a b-side. They even shot the covers for it (that's why Chase's cover fits Heat style way better, they didn't change it)
It's a shame because it's an awesome song
Hopefully someday we'll be able to watch all of these lost videos

lol, i always think about how curious Chase's cover fited on Heat, i just know the truth today and i like both songs. Heat is one of Kumi's best summer song.

phrased differently used to have a "sampler" page on their website and you could browse archives of their demos available for purchase and listen to hundreds of songs. Unfortunately they don't have them anymore because I think they're trying to maintain a professional "behind closed doors" approach to their music making. It sucks though because it would be so awesome coming across a demo that sounded familiar and then all of a sudden you realize it's the original English demo of Lollipop by Koda Kumi or something. lol

on a side note. Sound familiar to anyone?
