Yeah his outfit during PoM after BRILLANTE was perfect. I actually liked his presence in the concert back then, so it's nothing personal against the guy. I met him in London and he's nice. Although he tried to sleep with my friend lol tmi.

That's an amazing setlist! So amazing I forgot about evolution and Boys & Girls. I do still think they make for a good concert though so maybe they'll be in the final..

While I'm kind of dissapointed that Terminal has somewhat few words I LOVE that Ayu played with that sound instead of people usually playing with her songs like that.

I expected more from XOXO, but still love it haha! Terminal is also fantastic, have to commend her on this album.

Angel was the highlight of the tour, and it's the highlight of the album for me. I think the performance impacted me haha. I really felt Ayu's strength and bravery. It was like... You could see her giving her all. I can't wait for Tokyo's shows. I'm thinking about going to two of them instead of just the last date. :)

I'm pretty disappointed with Terminal :( i tought we were gonna see something more similiar to the (epic) preview, if i knew it was only for just that part i wouldn't have had my hopes too high ;-;

XOXO is cute, it might get the kawaii part on the show, but the ''girl just wanna have fun'' still annoying me lol

It was about time she let go of these old tracks a little bit. I am so happy because I had almost given hope she would try new things and stop leaning on her past successes. Pretty unexpected ! The new songs are great, let's hope that new album will be a hit :)

She said something in a blog entry that said that the 11 tour dates are like '11 colors' and someone thought that it could relate to the album title. I'm not really sure how anyone would come to that conclusion... but she had been talking about the tour specifically in an entry called "From today..." or something.

It seems that this song is kinda new Evolution since she's been performing it all the time after its release.

I'd love the album to be called TODAY!! I mean, RAINBOW was first supposed to be called Today or Tommorow (I don't remember clearly)

I think it was Tomorrow. And then Leslie kinda changed Ayu's mind about it during the shoot or something.

OMG REALLY!!?!!? *seizures on ground* Finally. a tour that isn't recycled. This is one hell of a tracklist. She actually did it. She didn't sing who/humming/boys and girls/surreal/evolution or any of those overplayed songs. I can't believe it. Although the concert started 50 minutes late and the concert hall had a really strict schedule, so I have a feeling there's more to the encore than just feel the love but they had to cut them out due to time constraints.

This might be the first concert DVD I buy from her since her My Story tour.

I think a lot of people is finally happy with ayu

Well I will admit I'm pretty letdown by the new songs. For me, this might end up ring my least favorite ayu song. Past disappointing albums always had one or two really great tracks that had some sort of signature sound to them. Even with party queen, she did new things but in her own way. Now, these songs have absolutely no similarity to her signature sound and basically removed all reasons why I listen to her music.

These songs are interesting to me because they don't have her signature. It's something new by ayu but still ayu. That's why it excites me. it took time to get used to because it was different but I really appreciate it. I like/love the songs. And now & 4eva is signature ayu and I love that too.

I really want to see how these are performed live. The performances sound exciting.

Wow the setlist is very interesting. None of the songs is my favorite or anything, but together they make up a very good set list (it seems interesting, at least; gotta watch the whole thing myself to be sure).

I'm very looking forward to seeing costume pictures! The description in the first post sounds like they're not (too) tacky this time. I hope it's true. Also, very hyped about the Terminal/Connected performance! I /love/ the 2006 alterna performance so I hope this one's up to par (if not better)!

I wonder if what you mean is something similar to what I feel, though... that the tracks definitely sound very different, perhaps more Western--and it would feel disappointing if she continued in a direction that led towards mainstream Western pop, I think. I'm also a wee bit worried about less and/or...well, slightly vapid? lyrical content, but again, I haven't heard the entirety of the album, so don't jump on me for this. I haven't made any declarations either yet. I still really love the sound of the album--I think this is fun and new. I guess I'm also trying to take the changes with a grain of salt. She's trying something now, but who knows what's going to come next. :)

I do love trance and armins production isn't bad but her voice does not mesh well with it at all. I feel like my only saving grace with her at this point is for her to embrace her inner rock goddess. The style of her singing is off putting to me. People say "ayu was never a great singer though" but to me, she was. I always loved her voice and it was not bad. Now, it can be considered bad.

Lelio and Pray are the only new songs I'm digging (and it seems Pray got ditched).

I'm pretty happy with the new songs simply because she's trying something new, and I'm happy she's doing so, but I do agree this is not the "Ayu style" that makes her my favorite artist.
This is probably going to be one of her weak albums for me, but I'm still happy with her effort in making something new, and even if I don't think the songs are awesome, I still find them quite addicting, so I like them all and overall I have a positive view of this album already :)

I just wish she doesn't keep this style of songs as her default from now on, I don't want Ayu becoming more generic, I like listening to her songs and thinking "this is Ayu" and not "any artist could have release this". I hope she keeps experimenting, but in a way that still has that signature feeling of hers...

Well people got to keep in mind, she's mostly stateside now is probably considering expanding internationally (remember towards the end of HLS 2012 tour she had her global fans tweet her and Kayzu of which country and city to come tour with hash tag ABL?) plus she's exposing herself to more mainstream music.

I think Ayu knows this as well. I can see what she meant by a completely new direction (for Ayu) with this album she's been working on. I do not think she will ever simply do these kinds of Western-ish tracks, but it couldn't hurt for her to try it at least once. When the arrangements are handled 100% by the producers, the "Ayu" vibe comes from the lyrics and the way it's sung. It's not surprise really that the only songs with the really Ayuish sound on this album are the ones that her team produced.

LOL she ain't gonna tour anywhere outside Asia. It'd be embarrassingly low-budget and Ayu would look like some flop indie act.

I think it'd be cool of course to see an actual concert instead of a circus show, but she'd absolutely have to scrap the diva image and I doubt she'd go for it tbh.

My second home lol It's basically roughly around a 2 hour commute from her place lol plus she visits there often and there are so many venues for her to choose from...or even MGM Grand *gasps* could you imagine her on their marquee? Plus if she performed in Vegas, she would gain lots of interest (from locals, across country and globally) in her and the 6 new songs and FTL and MGR would definitely fit in the Vegas music scene.

I think she enjoys the relative low profile in states.

Am I the only one who's not that surprised that Terminal wasn't as "godly" as most people though it will be? It's more of an Armin release than Ayu for me. Ayu's singing parts are so perfect, been playing the song non-stop tbh. I LOVE IT.

Those costumes look pretty normal for Ayu, in the sense of being nothing new. Though, the good thing is, they all look good like that, no bad surprises.^^
I really wonder if Alvin Goh made those, I do have some doubts now... or he just orientated on her older stuff and made them consistent.

I don't think we've seem anything particularly crazy from alvin when you think of it. But it's always nice. And it's a more mature image, nothing cutesy, like he said. Probably practical too.
