I seriously hope TABOO isn't a 10 second interlude this time

tokyoxjapanxfan 4th April 2015 06:05 PM

futari de!?
gentle words?!

wind and i'll be there and lady go!?!

and that's about where my excitement stops lol.

abestfah 4th April 2015 06:39 PM

i don't like this setlist
Why doesn't it have Hotel, money in my bag or Turn around? Hotel is my favorite song that i wait for live version since it released.

Gimme U is just a medley........

Corvina 4th April 2015 07:24 PM

It's pretty much the first time, Kuu didn't stuffed similar songs together and made sections. It's a mixed setlist - no ballad or rock or cute section.
I'm really intrigued, how this will work out.
And there's a live band, that's actually the only thing I really need! :D

Earth_maiden 4th April 2015 08:17 PM

The setlist looks amazing! :luv2

SKYia 4th April 2015 08:39 PM

I'm not happy either but Japonesque also didn't seem that good at first with new songs mixed with old and Kuu songs mixed with covers but with appropriate arrangement and scene decorations, costumes, ideas, etc even the worst setlist may be awesome :)

Corvina 4th April 2015 08:57 PM

Btw, there's other jewellery pieces released as tour goods.

http://i62.tinypic.com/iejgpu.jpg

But those are just available at the venues.
Only the gold necklace is up on mu-mo.
That's why we don't have any prices for them yet.

Don't care for the pearl necklace, but the earrings are great!

kaled kalil 4th April 2015 09:41 PM

Awesome setlist is awesome! I'm curious about the costumes, and knowing that she was inside a car in the air, wow... Can't wait!

SKYia 4th April 2015 09:58 PM

No catwalk again? That's a bummer.

I think she'll sing Ai no Uta eventually, the song is probably in the section of the Song Menu (the book of songs, the fan picked futari de).

ALfromHELLSING 5th April 2015 12:17 AM

Setlist looks good. Nothing omg about it tho. You can keep up with me was a good choice for an opening track. It's one of my favourite tracks on the album. PIECE IN THE PUZZLE is there too which is good. Sucks she didn't use Dance Interlude from the album, I'm really liking it. Should have been a full song. Album is growing on me, but it's still my least favourite album from from her. I can't get out Like It out of my head.

Xianghua 5th April 2015 12:42 AM

I don't know why it isn't written in the set list, but I definitely remember dance interlude. It was blended with intro~walk of my life~

Gustavopc 5th April 2015 12:57 AM

The intro and interlude from BV weren't also listed in the Tour but were performed during the Dance Parts... Don't know why they wouldn't list it tho hahaha

melissalove 5th April 2015 01:05 AM

The set list sounds intriguing. But, isn't the tour like a month long?? Hopefully not. No catwalk, oh dear.

kaled kalil 5th April 2015 01:49 AM

@Xianghua Do you remember if Sometimes Dreams Come True (the song after hands) was a ballad, or with a slow tempo style? The song is actually pop/rock and it seems out of place from the setlist, but if it was with a different mix, it would make sense.

Edit~

The stage has a catwalk, it's just like the JAPONESQUE Tour one

It was like on the album. She wore a white/gold dress for hands, but then when the lights went out, the dress part hung off her like a skirt with a slit on the side so you could see her leg. She sang it in front of a mic stand like a real rock performance. It did seem odd to change suddenly like that, but I think the transition went well with the lights and stuff

jiarongisme 5th April 2015 05:22 AM

The setlist seems pretty meh tbh. But I would love to see how she can work it in the concert.

maze 5th April 2015 07:40 AM

everything seems so boring

gimme u is masterpiece and she sang half of it? how is it possible b*tcch

---that outfit is so horrid---

ayu_ready? 5th April 2015 05:57 PM

I don't like this setlist

happiholic★ 5th April 2015 06:28 PM

The only thing I see wrong with the set list is that Gentle Words is somehow mixed with the horrendous crap that is Gimmie U.

Diva_br 5th April 2015 08:03 PM

The setlist is awful, I expected it to be the anniversary tour she sang some old songs (from affection - grow into one) and would have more sense.

But no TT____TT

Gustavopc 5th April 2015 09:23 PM

Don't worry guys, she's probably saving the old stuff for the second semester :P

matt9210 5th April 2015 10:04 PM

^ Has she confirmed any plans for a tour around her actual anniversary date in December?

Do you guys remember what she did for her 10th anniversary? Gonna be in Japan from the end of September for a year, need to see this woman!

Gustavopc 5th April 2015 10:27 PM

She didn't confirm, but this tour was first announced as a 15th Anniversary Tour and then she changed the title, so I hope she's saving up for something actually comemorative by the end of the year, neat the actual date of her 15th anniv.

For her 10th there was UNIVERSE Tour from April to June (which is pretty much how this tour is gonna last), then Dream music park for two days in July, which was a kind of extension of UNIVERSE Tour yet not a Special Final. Around October (iirc) there was ETERNITY ~Love & Songs~ at Billboard Live, which were simple concerts in a small stage, I guess there were like eight dates only. Finally, there was FANTASIA at Tokyo Dome on December 5th (one day before her 10th anniversary).

My guesses/whishes for this year are another FC Tour, cause she always perform some forgotten gems on those, and a special concert in December. Not necessarily a dome, I think they're too big and it looks a bit empty without a proper stage, but still something bigger.

lastminute 5th April 2015 11:09 PM

^I'd love a big concert at Nippon Budokan.

chocopockymaster 6th April 2015 12:43 AM

^ I would rather another Tokyo Dome performance. I've seen Kuu at Budokan and yeah, it was cool, but not special enough to host a 15th anniversary performance imo. I think in general it's highly overrated as a venue.

maze 6th April 2015 12:52 AM

she did PREMIUM NIGHT Love&Songs at Nippon Budokan and I havent watched it yet, lol

Gustavopc 6th April 2015 01:40 AM

Actually I'd love anything but a round stage concert, they are cool cause of the spinning around thing, but they are so empty ~~: A stage like TRICK Tour, with mini-stages on the sides, plus a catwalk would be perfect

Princess_Of_Roses 6th April 2015 02:22 AM

So i relistened to walk of my life because i felt robbed i really only like 2 songs on there (like it and hotel) well i found out I LOVE piece in the puzzle. Thant tongue roll thing she does in the verses. Omgoodness!!!!!

yes! I don't like center stages, that's exactly what I disliked so much about Premium Night @ Nippon Budokan. I mean, she could've used a regular stage, although , I guess considering the venue, a center stage was the best option :/

Agreed. PREMIUM NIGHT was fun to go to (especially given the company--thanks, ladies!) and it was a bit of a novelty because we went to her birthday show, but I don't think I'll ever watch that concert again. The stage was definitely lacking, but there's only so much you can do with that setup. :/ I will say I really loved seeing Do As Infinity at Budokan, but they're much more about the music than they are about the ~show. That's not meant as a slight against Kuu in any way, but I think the possibilities for setting up the stage are really limited compared to a dome setting where the sky's the limit, so to speak. :yes

I would be very surprised if that happened.

Honey_Jae 6th April 2015 12:42 PM

Hm don't like the setlist. Hope the performance will be good :(

kaled kalil 6th April 2015 03:30 PM

@Miichan I don't now why she wouldn't perform at Tokyo Dome for just one date. One thing that she sells is concert tickets, and for FANTASIA the tickets were sold out really quick, they even selled new seats that you could barely see the stage, only the big screens haha.

I'm not a fan of the round stage neither, even when a performer has a lot of props (like The Circus Starring Britney Spears) the concert always felt so empty.
Weirdly I'm not a fan of Tokyo Dome as well. It worked well for the Black Cherry Final Live, because the stage was really well put togeter, but for FANTASIA it felt like a REALLY big stage for so little of performances. She even got lost at the end of Lick me♥. haha

I can see she doing a new small venue tour since she loves so much those small places, which she can really conect with the fans. A Summer Concert would be great as well, but I don't think it's going to happen.

What would be great as well is a small Asia Tour, or even a couple of Taiwan Concerts, with all brand new things.

I like that, during those special dates, she always do a special performance. We can really see why they say she is the Queen of Live. :)

Gustavopc 6th April 2015 04:24 PM

Yeah, the stage for FANTASIA also bothers me... The fact that there was a huge stage and it was so less "utilized" than it was during BC Tour gives me a feeling of a rushed concert, like they decided suddenly on holding the concert and didn't prepare it properly. Specially for the ballad section, absolutely NOTHING happens there oh Lord.

Minttulatte 6th April 2015 05:00 PM

FANTASIA's ballad section is perfect as it is. There's absolutely no need to use so much stuff to make that performance better because sometimes just the artist on stage is enough. I would rather look at that than look at 10 people acting something they got no talent for. :')

lastminute 6th April 2015 05:11 PM

Yes, FANTASIA's stage looked so big because it wasn't taken advantage of properly imo.
Also, I didn't enjoy the interlude videos (super tacky).

Gustavopc 6th April 2015 06:41 PM

I like when Kuu goes simple and intimate on ballads performances, I LOVE concerts like Billboard Live, but taking Tokyo Dome and singing 10 ballads without anything else is such a wasted potential. Not to mention she looks so far away from the audience in that huge catwalk... It's not that the section was bad, it just could have been much better imo /:

kaled kalil 6th April 2015 08:00 PM

Even the outfit wasn't that good for the ballad section, the hair was so UNIVERSE Tour flight attendant. And also, she can have a ballad section with only her on stage, but things needs to happen to make it interesting.

The section from Dejavu Tour was great, we got three different outfits, some "hologram" stuff. Premium Night also had some special moments, like the usual snow for you, that beautiful "chandelier stage" for 1000 no kotoba, those lamps during Rain.
Even Kingdom Tour had a special moment with the acoustic band, sitting on that bench.

I agree that sometimes it's only about the performer and the stage, but she doesn't even seems connected with the audience, she's so far from them, walking around...

ren'ai 6th April 2015 08:40 PM

I loved the ballad section for UNIVERSE tour, that water fountain stage was so beautiful during ai no uta!

for some strange reason I loved this ballad section as well.. it was just about kuu and her voice.. she sang some old gems in a great medley.. the 'come back' performance was my favorite because of all her ballad PVs showing on the screens, it was so beautiful and nostalgic... and '0-ji mae no tsunderella' with the perfect lyrics and instrumental, awesome :heart I even cried a bit haha

Gustavopc 7th April 2015 02:40 AM

I print-screened the two pages from the new Koda Gumi magazine with pics from the 15th Anniversary Promo shooting cause, well, girl looks fine as hell, and decided to share the images here. Enjoy :)

I'm sure she could still fill the dome, but people probably wouldn't rush to buy tickets the same way they did, she's not as popular as she was back then.
I'd rather have her perform on a smaller stage, I don't want them to throw her entire budget on something like one dome concert.

I love her simple stages at her concerts the most, when she concentrates on singing, possibly dancing and the audience, she shines the brightest.
When artists add 20 overdramatic dancers acting poorly around tacky props for every song it kills the mood.

ayu_ready? 7th April 2015 10:54 AM

I think Kuu won't be able to hold a dome tour right now. people, maybe, wouldn't buy it. currently they love dome tours of boybands mostly. solo artist? don't think so.
but it would be nice and refreshing to have a stadium concert

orangeakira 7th April 2015 12:49 PM

If she releases DH7, I wonder if we'll get the remix of Pearl Moon they dropped from DH6.

I don't think also, but I guess everyone is referring to a special one-date only Dome concert, like FANTASIA. Probably she could manage to hold one.

kaled kalil 7th April 2015 03:42 PM

Yes, I'm talking about a Dome Live, not a Dome Tour.

chocopockymaster 7th April 2015 03:47 PM

Yeah I can't see her doing a nationwide dome tour either, but a two- or three-day event would be fun.

(What I really want is Dream Music Park II but I'm not going to hold my breath, lol)

Gustavopc 7th April 2015 07:43 PM

This information, along with the official covers were released on Baidu when they first announced Driving Hits 6. But, obviously, Pearl Moon never ended up on the finalized tracklist. So this is why I'm hoping they'll put Pearl Moon on Driving Hit's 7.

That picture we got it's probably from the "rock" section, the pose reminds me a lot of the TABOO pose. I can't wait to see more pics too!

Kaiouforever 10th April 2015 12:18 AM

I sort of hear "walk" in her "walk of my life" song. Not sure why, some of the melody seems to remind me of the other.

She sang Ai no Uta today during the Song Menu part of the concert. The rest was pretty much the same.

CoriKaru 11th April 2015 11:44 PM

Finally heard "PIECE IN THE PUZZLE" and I like it but I hate that they wasted the last 30 seconds repeating the same thing over and over again and she can't even pronounce it. I skip to the end to get the playcount at that point. No time for the entrance of basicness.

One date concert for Kuu would be sold out quite fast since the dates for Kuu's tours are always sold out pretty soon after they're announced. :)

I'm happy that the Song menu thing is used again. One of the things why I love Kuu so much is that she brings fans on stage with her and they choose a song for her to aing. That's really nice of her. :heart

I kind of agree. I think she should have sang "the piece in the puzzle" once, and then let the instrumental play out the rest of the song rather than repeat it a ton of times. But I don't really notice it.

jean-baptiste 12th April 2015 02:10 AM

I think it's time I revisit WALK OF MY LIFE. Haven't heard the album since I got it in the mail. I was a bit underwhelmed by it, excluding Dance In The Rain and HOTEL which still haven't gotten old for me since their respective releases last year. I wanna give it some love and try to appreciate it - I mean I paid for the damn thing lol.

Yeah, either do what you say and then cut the 30 seconds by 15-20 seconds or keep the length and have her ad lib some interesting notes or go off on a whole 'nother tangent altogether to catch us off guard.

kaled kalil 12th April 2015 01:49 PM

The demo song had only instrumental for the ending, it's not like Kumi's version.

My only problem with piece in the puzzle is that I was hoping for the real lyric (at least at the end of the song) "I'm the missing piece in the puzzle", it sounds way better. And also the climax of the original, it was better in the demo song.

The lyric is SOOOO different, it's funny to see the original song had such a different meaning. haha

I think those girls (specially kuu) eat pheromones for breakfast. It's insane!

Earth_maiden 13th April 2015 01:31 PM

flawless Kuuchie

Gustavopc 13th April 2015 02:11 PM

So Kuu has got a break on her tour of almost half a month... I wonder if she's gonna start working on her Summer single :D I'm ansious for what she's preparing this year, Gossip Candy was such a good single, and even tho I liked the last Summer singles, they were not as catchy as Lollipop and the Fishbowl songs

happiholic★ 13th April 2015 02:54 PM

Is it just a tour break to work on other stuff, or a personal break for time with her family?

Gustavopc 13th April 2015 03:25 PM

All I know is the next tour concert happens in May :P I guess it's not for her family, iirc BACK-ON will start touring soon also

kaled kalil 13th April 2015 03:53 PM

We never know, specially since isn't even a tour break, the dates are quite far, but that's it. haha

Since she's always working on something (I mean, we didn't have any information about FEVER or Never Give it Up, we can see she's always up to something) so yeah, it's hard to tell.

I wish the summer single will be released in July instead of August this year. :D

And that Kansai Collection setlist+outfits looks amazing. I'm pretty sure she slayed the stage completely and beyond repair. She's that awesome.

I agree! Hoping for a release in mid July this time. I'm really curious about
what release we'll get next! Especially because there's no Driving Hits this year.

ayu_ready? 14th April 2015 11:53 AM

I'm actually glad she can afford to have a break

Honey_Jae 14th April 2015 02:42 PM

I like her hair color *-* this looks awesome. I want it as well :D

Corvina 17th April 2015 08:43 AM

It's interesting, that there are so much official released photos from festival performances and such like Kansai Collection on sites like barks and modelpress, but with the tour we just got one everywhere.
I guess rhythmzone don't want photos from the tour to officially leak anymore. I wonder why, it wasn't such a big problem in the past.
I wanna see more photos of the tour so badly!

abestfah 17th April 2015 11:01 AM

Why don't anybody share some merchandises from tour? No one ordered them?

Gustavopc 17th April 2015 11:34 AM

I also want pics from the tour :( ayu got lots of photos already and Kuu just one urrrgh

Minttulatte 17th April 2015 01:56 PM

Maybe this secrecy is a part of promotion for the DVD/Blu-Ray release day. They try to keep everything a secret to hype it up. :3

happiholic★ 19th April 2015 04:13 PM

I'm really curious to see what she does with this tour.
