I love the colour of the outfit, would love to see her wearing a more flamboyant version of that on a tour. To see her wearing a neon outfit after all the black and white of this year is so refreshing (not complaining bout those looks)

There's a double standard in the industry . What certain things men do/say , they can get away with it while if women do/say the exact same thing , they get shamed for
What Kuu did/said at that time she probably didn't meant any harm but the subsequent backlash she received was downright awful which represented a low point for her , be it personally or professionally I don't know why this matter is still being brought up after so long but end of the day , I'm glad Kuu is still doing what she loves/does best . She could have just disappear from the limelight after that infamous incident but she did not |

And the double standard is present in any given industry, not only in Japan. In Korea it's waaaaaaaaay worse. Tiffany from SNSD posted a pic with a rising sun filter on Snapchat and her careet got shut down and she and her mother received death threats. Yoochun, from JYJ, on the other side, raped some girls and nobody treats him like the scumbag he is or make he pay for what he did. A lot of fans are even defending him. |
I think what shocked people the most was the fact that her own label shut down all the promotion she was doing, and also all the tie-in she had at that time. You can see that by all the news around that time mentioning that her schedule was put on hold during the first week of her album release. I understand that going for a low profile situation was a good thing, but it was shocking either way.
It's undeniable how the "scandal" hurt Kingdom's sales (from 400k to 80k during the second week) but we will never know how her career would be if the whole thing that scrapped during the recording of the show. Saying that the incident destroyed her career is a little too much... Moon Crying / MOON was a big success, TABOO was a #1 single and the sales for the Kingdom Tour were as good as the Black Cherry Tour... I don't see any problem in talking about this, because it's part of her career and it's one of the most clear examples of how japanese media treats their female acts. What she said was true, and she has always been like that, an outspoken woman, but you know how everything went down. You know... "Lippy like a rude girl". |

If what she said truly means "rotted fluids" than I do think it's disrespectful but I'm not a woman so I don't get to be offended by it. I'm just glad it didn't end her career cause she went through a lot of shit to get there. |

^yes. She immediately (thanks autocorrect!) cut her hair (typical move) and dyed it to look more down to earth. During her (staged/forced) apology, she did not wear make-up nor any fancy cloth - all for the sake of damage control.

Now that you said it, I can see the documentary being in a FC version of the 60th single. It would make sense to pair both since the tour had the 59 singles concept and so.

Guys, a friend of mine os going to be in Tokyo for the shows of April 12 and 13 and he's gonna try to see one of these concerts. For non-FC tickets, how can he buy them? Also, is there a way for me to try getting FC tickets for him? I really have no idea how this stuff works hahahahah

Could be problematic. But your friend can always try reseller shops directly in Tokyo or buying tickets through Japanese auctions before. This could get quite expensive though. There're pros & cons . For reseller of tickets , at least you will know the seat no.s upfront but you wouldn't pay the tickets at face value
You can buy them online or go Harajuku's Takeshita Street From my own experience with another artiste , if you ballot through the fanclub and/or general sale , you wouldn't know how good or bad your seats are until you receive the tickets 2 weeks before the actual concert date I don't know if Kuu's concerts are strict but from what I know , only if you attend fanclub exclusive concerts then you have to show your fanclub ID . If not , then you just need to show your tickets at the door prior to being ushered in Seeing that demand for KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2017 is expected to be high , I guess each fanclub member can only ballot for 2 tickets ? I think the Hawaii live is probably the bonus CD+DVD FC of the new album, but since she performed so many times at Universal Studio Japan and none of the performances were released, I don't think we'll get footage of this one as well.
I guess Kumi won't perform during this year's FNS :( It's next week already (the first day) and she still hasn't been announced as a guest. |

You don't get banned from the fanclub, but you won't win any tickets in the next ticket lottery, if you don't pay all the won tickets.
At least that's what's always written in the rules for the international FC. So you can decide not to pay all the tickets you've won, but it will have consequences the next time you apply for tickets. |
What do you guys expect or hope for Kumi's new album? Do you guys think she'll follow the "tropical" wave that is going on western music, like Britney's Glory, Selena's Revival and stuff?
I think the album will be more like Bon Voyage than WALK OF MY LIFE, with some ballads here and there, and heavily western style inspired (as usual). I don't know much to expect, since there is a chance of Cupcake being there, and as far as we know about the song, it has a more "trap" type of beat, being more urban than pop. I'm hoping for a fast paced song, something like Hyolyn's Paradise. -- About the Cadillac song, that's probably the "original" song, it's not that bad actually. They probably they bought the demo. But you know... Mercedes > Cadillac. haha |

Bring It On probably won't be there again (maybe as b-side for the single?). Don't think the new songs from SoL and WoL will be there - would be too much songs for the album already and so both collection albums stay exclusive. I can actually see the album to shape up quite urban. |
