I think we're past that robotic stage, the last time they edited like that was for MIT in 2016. There were robotic moments in A^3, but that was mild in comparisom and only during a couple of songs. Plus, we know she basically had no voice that day.
I think back in 2013/2014 they would have drowned shows like JTB1 in autotune, but nowadays they seem to be using a much more natural-sounding approach. I think we should be fine :) |

Did Avex invent a time machine and bring 2007/2008 Ayu to 2021? Because wow, I think it is mostly her hairstyle, but she looks so different (obviously pregnancy does impact how one appears, but this feels like a whole new/old look!)
I like the setlist, and while I'm indifferent to the darker, 'gothic' theme here (I don't think it has been presented in a particularly interesting way), I'm happy to see Ayu do something different for herself. |

I'm usually not a fan of the acting / storyline that her dancers are trying to tell in her songs, but I must say Return Road was something different. I have a feeling the dancers probably represent the media / naysayers who tend to laugh at her (choice of song - Return Road is also interesting because I believe the PV had Manuel? photo burning up or something- correct me if I am wrong) and in the end she overthrows them.
It then transitions into Warning which is probably a "I don't care what you say" song. |

Her vocals are so on point in (miss)understood. And I really loved the whole Return Road-WARNING-(miss) section.

The concert is REALLY good! There are a ton of highlights like 23rd Monster, Return Road, (m)u, Haru Yo, Koi and Voyage. Haven't seen it all yet but it's a great show.
My only complaint is that the music kind of overpowered Ayu in the first section. Quote:

I kept myself off the forum so the setlist would be a surprise. It was a really good show! Some of the songs were tired from overuse but Return Road and (miss)understood were such a nice surprise! I loved the gothic arrangement of voyage. I checked the setlist on TA website after the stream and of course they cut Life :p but overall it was a good show and July 1st was a nice bonus.

The show was incredible! Powerful, epic, emotional. I felt so much love coming from the screen and I was totally invested energy-wise. I feel amazing after watching it, thank you ayu <3

I’ve only seen the first couple of performances this morning, however gotta say Return Road got me both sad and spooked. Loved the vocals, such a strong performance.

Overall it was a great show IMO, I don't regret buying an online ticket.
Voice sure wasn't steady here and there, not her best, not her worst... But the tracklist was solid AND THE GIRL WAS GLOWING. |
The kicks that she did in the first segment of the show (in 23rd monster, DaD) - reminds me of the good ol' Peco days hahaah God I miss her

I thought 23rd Monster was a bit weak vocally but I liked the rest, WatQ is so much deeper with a choir, the acting/staging on Return Road was great, and this is probably the most fun I had on a WARNING performance since the original Cirque de Minuit one! Can't wait to watch the rest! |

^I think the emotions definitely played a part in that choice. I was also wondering if they filmed all shows and then decided to use the one that was the best in their eyes.

I just rewatch the concert and for me (miss)understood is live OR it sounds live to me and it's the most important thing; But I'm pretty sur Return road & Haru yo koi are lypsynched because it sounds reaalllly clean and Voyage after sounds more natural with more breath, vibrato, and some off-key moment. Talking about Haru yo koi, if it was lypsynced this is extremely well done.

Finally getting round to watching the rest of the live, and I had a proper fanboy moment when she started singing the 'lala' at the end of evolution (that is at the beginning in the recorded version).
Just because she hardly ever sings it live, I was happy to hear it for once! |

Just making a revival here but one point that I read few people commenting is about the arrangements of some songs with the chorus and orchestra. I really love it. She may not have a live band but the the strings and orchestra really made up for me, Return Road and Voyage sounded incredible for example.
