The "ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2021-2022 A 〜23rd Monster〜" have started on October 2 (Sat), at Makuhari Event Hall.
Following the lifting of the declaration of a state of emergency, we have reviewed the capacity of venues and have decided to sell additional tickets!
TeamAyu limited special first-come, first-served ticketing for "ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2021-2022 A 〜23rd Monster〜" Aichi, Tokyo(Yoyogi), Hyogo performance will start from 15:00 on October 5 (Tue)!

Even after the declaration of the state of emergency is lifted, the number of tickets will be limited because the tour will continue to be held with thorough measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection!

The setlist is FANTASTIC, I'm so glad some of these songs are finally getting some love, but I'm worried she won't keep them outside of Japan. Both Asia tours were quite 'classics heavy' if I remember correctly, so I hope she won't swap these songs for the usual concert staples. If she does, I hope we get some kind of broadcast of the final Japanese date with these songs in it!

Slightly off topic but if all the current songs make it to a DVD, what songs does that leave un-performed/unreleased? I'm getting this, but I feel like I'm forgetting more?

^I think we’ll get to see the Japan’s leg of the tour with the CDL either on TV broadcast or released on DVD later, so even if she changes the set list for the Asia part it doesn’t really matter.
Btw am I the only one starting to get hyped for her 25th anniversary? It’s around the corner already! I wonder what her plans are after the Asia tour ends.

I think she might have stopped singing Mr. Darling as that song was probably meant for her husband? I'm only speculating here, but the did separate in autumn of that year. Maybe she decided to stop singing it because that's when things weren't going that well.

NO FUTURE was no big deal in my opinion, if somebody who doesn’t listen to Ayu’s songs survived the very first Dreamed a dream then they would survive that one too. I am not saying that vocals were bad during Dreamed a dream, but a combination of bad audio at Makuhari Messe and vocals and Dreamed a dream arrangement made it really painful to listen to (at least from where is was standing). I also took quite some time to recognise the song. Surprisingly when I listen to recording made on the phone through my pocket it does sound much smoother and one actually can distinguish lyrics (I was not able during the live).

Dear God I just need Last Links to be recorded and released on a BD 🥲

NO FUTURE is one of my favourites off A ONE, it's so surprisingly upbeat and it shows her vocal range marvellously. I was very looking forward for this to be played during the actual Cirque de Minuit tour, but alas.

I can understand how she's struggling, even with the keys lowered like this. the song's verses are sung in quite the low register, while the choruses(?) reach such high notes. I predict this would be one of the songs she would eventually cut from the set list if she continues to struggle :(

that said, if I saw this live, I would still be so excited—as thrilled as some of the people in the clip when the intro starts playing. must have been a very surprising pick :)

the good idea for her will be to perform M (Above & Beyond remix) !!! In order to promote the album anniversary and it would be so great to hear it live at last !

It seems like they’ve opened up ticket sales to non TA members (those who follow on LINE). Is this usual? I thought tickets were always TA exclusive.

Since it's not TA-limited tour it's a normal procedure. TA gets an advanced lottery, then other lotteries take place (Yahoo, Line, other ticketing sites) and eventually general public can purchase what remains.

Towards the end NO FUTURE sounds as if she were all like “Seriously when is this going to end?”. It does sound like she was struggling a lot with it.

-Even with Boys & Girls, people couldn't sing, but there was a chorus track so it wasn't silent
-Quiz game was back while waiting for the encore
-Ayu had a cane for some songs, not all
-Couldn't use the center stage, she stayed on the main stage most of the time.
-Fly high: sat on a cart, dancers pushed her around the center stage
-Dancers pushed her in a wheel chair around center stage during medley, and at the end of main set and encore while she said thank you
-Curtain call: Changed the last lyrics from "anata e okuru" to "Nagoya e okuru"
-Real me: Did the upper body dance moves, but during the dance break she stepped back into the dark and a dancer took her place to do the more difficult dance moves

All in all still a great show, she didn't overexert herself, and had support.

She even raised number of songs... what a crazy girl. Any other artist would cancel the show or at least cut the duration

From my little knowledge about this subject (my aunt had it a long time ago when she was at the dentist), it could be caused by a bite from an insect, a food or some medication you're allergic. Hope she's fine right now, but let's wait the updates.

Maybe the doctor prescribed a new one she didn't even know she was allergic of.

P.S.: some stupid people are claiming this reaction is somehow related to the Covid-19 vaccine. It's kinda absurd (an anaphylactic shock is and immediate reaction and she was vaccinated weeks ago).

According to this news article she (or her staff took decision) to leave the hospital in Nagoya on Monday and come back to Tokyo by car, despite the fact that her condition was not yet good. She is apparently now undergoing close check ups in a hospital somewhere around Tokyo.
