People who have seen BoA's interview, can you tell me WHEN did it start and finish? I have serious trouble figuring out CNN International time schedule, becouse they apparently have time zones messed up on their website (they say there's 2 hours difference between GMT and CET, while it's in fact 1 hour) and I don't know when things are actually airing!! Please help me and just say what time the BoA interview aired and finished and what country you are in, I should be able to track the time difference. Thankies.

the whole schedule on CNN International website is a bit... odd... they say it's 2 hours difference between Greenwich Mean Time [GMT] and Central European Time [CET], while it's in fact 1 hour...

Yes. I sincerely believe that she can really speak English very well. I just wanna watch her interview. I really hope that they won't dub the interview. I just wanna hear she speak English. If some of you guys said that she has polished her English by attending class or travelling overseas, then she must have the confidence to speak English=)

Don't worry! Talk Asia (today is the interview with Ken Hirai) hasn't aired yet and the program will start in ~35 minutes, because the air time is 12.30 GMT. I just saw the ad where they also showed some part of the interview with him, some clips from PV's and also said the air time

And since you are in Germany your time zone is GMT+1 (like mine, in Spain), and that's 13.30 :)

I just saw the preview! I saw Ayumi Hamasaki on my own tv!!! *____*

and I THINK she actually did speak in English! At first, I thought it's surely a voice dub, but towards the end of the preview, I realised there's no speech in Japanese in the background, I thought they maybe muted it or made it very silent (as they did in today's interview with the architect guy, his real voice was made very silent), but in the last sentences I kinda saw her lips actually match the words!
I'm not sure, becouse they put that low framerate effect thingy on the footage and I couldn't make it out, besides it was so fast, they played her videos (few at once in different 'windows', so I didn't know what to look at, lol, they also showed footage from panasonic press conferences) and I was so excited... lol. Can't wait to see her tomorrow! Maybe she will be speaking English, that'd be like "OMFG! *drools*faints*THUD*" xD

What I heard was perfectly understandable. Not like she used advanced vocabulary or complex sentences, but it was clear what she said.

Although as I said, I can't say for sure, becouse maybe what I heard was just a dubbing lady's voice.

it was too short for me to figure out, altogether with that frame-skipping effect, but near the end of the footage I swear I saw her lips movement matching the words and realised that voice could pretty much be hers - her speaking complete English sentences, which is, after all, something I've never heard before (and people do sound kinda different when they speak foregin language).

But oh well, we'll just wait and see.

In the preview, her English definitely surpassed any expectations I had about her proficiency (mostly because she hadn't said anything otherwise in English).
I couldn't understand what she was saying the first time. There is definitely a strong accent but it's not too distracting. I look forward to the full interview.

Wow, her english was amazing. She either had to of memorized what she was going to say before the interview or her being able to speak English is one the "secrets" she kept from us. If her proficiency really is that good as the clip suggests, I bet most of, if not the whole interview will be in English.

She was talking in japanese (of course, there is a dubbed voice in English), so the full interview is not going to be in English :/

Oh, and the title of the news was 'Ayumi Hamasaki, the Empress of Jpop' (now we can leave the 'queen' title to Koda, and call Ayu the empress to avoid arguments lol)
