I think this is quite common on the release day. Normally things should even out around the weekend. I was quite disappointed with this week's sales. I thought the position would mean a sales around 6k like last week.

I dunno, the sales seem really good, especially for a CDL.

I think it's her highest selling one yet.

I think CDL04-05 sold around 70k. Let's see how this one goes =)

Close. 66k, which is just where CDL07-08 is at right now it seems. It'll definitely be her highest selling CDL after this.

I think this is her best CDL yet although i didn't watch 01-02 and 02-03. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it had a much bigger budget than 04-05 I think so bonus points! The only problem i had was that ladies night was a pretty redundant performance and bad choice of song for me. I know she wanted to get close to the audience but the whole dance routine was just blah... So it deserves to be her best selling CDL!

Yeah i agree that top 10 for the week is pretty much confirmed. Hope that next week's releases will not push it out too much but it's been pretty great so far!

still at # 5 today!!!!! WoW!!!! This was realese almost 2 months ago.I am so happy that is doing so well.Hopefully the "A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~" will do as good as this dvd or maybe even better.^_^

Of course A Complete will be better. Ayu's album sales pawns her DVD's any day. Actually i'm hoping for a million seller in A Complete. Hope i'm not jinxing it. This CDL is also doing much better than i hoped. When some AHS people commented on the live concert, i thought sales may not be so good cos it seems that ayu was not at her vocal best but, yay!

Whoever started the thread is responsible, and it's obvious that they like, abandoned the thread.

I remember when ayu's concert DVDs used to be released 3 months after the actual concert like former CDLs and My Story tour. I thought the 5 month lag for (miss)understood tour was long! And then Secret tour... I think they should release the j-press sooner and then add in footage of the overseas concert for OS press.

There may be a variety of reasons but i think this CDL just rocks. It's reason enough for great sales. Like ayu said, this concert is not just great because it's the 10th anniversary countdown but they should strive to keep improving. And it shows in the sales.

I don't think MW "revived" Ayu as she has been doing relatively the same since the release of (m)u. But I think that the whole GUILTY tour did put Ayu a bit more into the spot. At least thats how I feel.

True but i feel that this year's sales have generally been encouraging. I used to think ayu's singles could sell 250k (on oricon not shipped) and her albums 1 million but that has not been happening recently at all. At least this is a turnaround of sorts. Granted not a very convincing one but it lifts my spirits somewhat. This CDL is selling like hotcakes for a CDL and could be ayu's best-selling one yet.

Thanks ayumiko. It actually did better than last week! But it's really a fantastic concert. I enjoyed it much more than AT07. The catwoman thing was hilarious and the cloth performance was breathtaking.

I think part of the detractor for AT07 despite it being so amazingly high quality (if you listen to the concert rip mp3s, it is truly an AMAZING concert with amazing transitions) is that it came out almost a year after the concert started.

That's just sad.

So is CDL07-08 still charting? I mean it's kinda sad if it just stopped short of reaching AT07's sales.
