'Days' doesn't really tell me what the song will sound like, but I'm going to bet it's some kind of ballad, possibly one that would suit Kouhaku and FNS at the end of the year.

The opposite, they are doing it to sell more and as we see that sales are good with this method (and avex earn a lot by doing it) and making people interested and you won't see japanese fans protesting against it so there's nothing to worry =P.

Besides GREEN ayu wrote in TA blog she recorded a kakkoii song which means rockish or up beat. (unless if GREEN is the kakkoii and can be looked as kakkoii as ayu means it).

Woot! I haven't been this excited for a new Ayu release in quite some time. Hopefully the 4 new covers will be gorgeous (ditch the photographer turned director already!) and that Ayu can pimp out LOVE ~Destiny~ so I might have a chance for liking it!

but in THAT year, B&D was already her fourth single and 7th and 8th song of that year...so it was not difficult to record another 6 more and just make an album..

Like I can imagine a pop/punk version of LOVE ~Destiny~ that's like, REALLY freaking fast. And it's FUN in my head. But everyone would freak out. "OMG the song is ruined forever". Uh, no it's not. Go play A BEST. There it is, right there. If you don't like the new one, don't listen to it. It's not like you don't still have the old version.

But for the sake of pandering, songs like "Who..." only get slight beef-ups. Honestly, if you're gonna keep it almost exactly the same as the original, what's the point of doing it? As much as I didn't like "Who... (across the universe)" on A BALLADS, it's a totally different take on the song and I appreciate it's existence, you know?

That said, I at least hope that "TO BE" is still pretty.

:O Finally!!! An official announcement! TWO PVs?! That is wonderful news! And more re-recorded older songs too! :D YAY for December, the best month of the year!

Why is this announced 2 months before the release date? Lol very clever (and sneaky) of avex to release the making of for both songs on separate versions. It's almost like the BLUEBIRD thing, except this one has different prominent A-sides for both versions. Normally i associate the first A-side mentioned as the prominent one. Hopefully this will induce more sales.

So the album will come out around february maybe? :dead2

GREEN sounds okay from the chorus; at least it's not another "rock" song.

I can't think of a reason why she will make a totally new mix of LOVE~Destiny~. If people want another version, they can listen to LOVE~refrain~ or LOVE~since 1999~.

It feels like after 2006 the technology for her tours went downhill, while they should go uphill. o.O

Last week of december is merged with the first week of january. I don't think she'll come out with a new album 1/1/09 :( She hasn't had time to shoot the PVs and she only just shot the PVs for her new single. But if she backlogs her album, her concert tour dates are going to be pushed back as well for her next tour. This is kinda complicated...

Maybe ayu will surprise us with a mini-album on 1.1.09? She can then have GREEN, Days, & Life (and make a PV for life as an album bonus). And then she would just have to write like 5 more songs lol and like 2 or 3 more PVs... ;p

The new single officially name is Days/GREEN. It has nothing to do with GREEN/Days ^.^!

Mini album is not a bad idea, as long as her songs are superior, just like the ones in Ma. The thing is, Life is not that wonderful, and from the preview GREEN isn't that great as well. Right now I feel that I'm going through the stage (again) that I'm not too fond of ayu's music at this moment (last time occurred between I am and RAINBOW).

Either way, I still dun wanna see a new album in Jan 01, 2009. It would be too rush.

Because then everyone would make mini albums for the sake of having long streaks and many easy albums/#1s. =p Though, yea, Memorial address is imo better than most of her 'long' albums, and it's hardly much shorter than GUILTY. I think GUILTY is only not a mini album because of the load of interludes.

Well, mini-albums in japan usually have between 5 to 8 songs.
GUILTY had 10 full songs (Without Mirror, 11 with) so it's enough to be called a studio album XD.
