Yes, I can just tell my dad it's part of my gradution present. By telling him about the hotel, maybe it'll convince him more. :plot

Aah, that's how I got to see Ayu and go to Japan last year - my parents paid for my trip as a graduation present. ^^

Ehum well, I will probably get my hopes up for yahoo auctions. Last time I had a friend who tried to call for a ticket but they got sold out in like 15 minutes so I had to go the yahoo auctions way... But it worked just fine.

I'm hoping my friend gets the tickets before they sell out... but, that's how I got my tickets last year, was through YAJ, and the process worked out just fine (though, the listing was a bit weird so I got a bit of a discount which is always fun ^^).

Tony G 14th January 2009 03:14 AM

I'd probably cry too.. not a big cryer but seeing ayu in concert would probably do it. :P

For me it's Arena/Asia Tour 2010 I will see her. Have to finish uni first and save up some money >_<

Hehe ok. Then wanna try to get tickets together? ^^

Empry 14th January 2009 11:08 AM

I'm waiting a few days before I book my trip to Japan because a friend of of mine might accompany me and is now asking her boss for vacation. But I'm probabaly going to the concert in Yokohama on the 10th of May. Anyone else going? :)

Emperatriz Ayumi 14th January 2009 02:55 PM

I think that with this Arena Tour Ayu will have more time for resting and recover energy, she deserves it!!!!:yes:yes:yes:yes

ReiXi 15th January 2009 12:58 AM

I wish she could relax this year..:)

terra 15th January 2009 12:07 PM

I guess it's better to be like this, she needs a good rest

And suddenly I feel like with this she can press the budget of going overseas and perform more elaborately and maybe she would add more coolness, gimmick, and many expensive props because of she's not going anywhere.

I hope it'll be a great ARENA TOUR

kuri♥ayu 17th January 2009 03:53 AM

O_o... how the heck are so many of you able to afford just schlepping off to Japan?

or rather, how the heck are so many of your parents able to afford it? XD I'm genuinely curious.

my answer:

working hard every day :D also in my case had already planned to go visit Japan all the month of April so that the tour dates was a gift!!

Zeke. 17th January 2009 11:33 AM

I'm very excited for all of you going to see Ayu this year (especially the ones for the first time)! Trust me, it'll be the most amazing experience you'll live through. A pure dream - and afterwards, you might even think it had to have been a dream. I really wish I could go again... :( Ha ha. I just love Ayu so MUCH!

Ok, so I was expecting an album before this tour (aren't we all?)... but now I see the first tour date is April 11th. The new single comes out at the end of February. How the heck is she gonna fit promotions for a new album, recordings, photoshoots, and PV shootings in before then!? And also have time for rehearsals!? Wow... maybe we won't get an album. But what the heck will the tour be about? Lol.

MissElin_ 17th January 2009 12:04 PM

^Yeah, maybe it will be kind of a 45th single tour or something. Hehe. Or maybe she have something really supricing in her sleve. We'll never know. ^^

Hard work, save aloooooot. That was for the first time.

This time Im moving to jp(for one year) for studies and I hope I will get the chance to see her while Im there. :)

xLuna&1LOVE 17th January 2009 01:37 PM

My parents gave me most of the money last year because my trip then was a graduation present. This year, I'm working EXTREMELY hard, and I'll be asking all my family for money when my birthday comes around.

rikku411 17th January 2009 06:13 PM

Of course I'm jealous of all of you, haha. But have fun if/when you do end up going!

Maybe she'll do another tour in 2010 and I can go? Haha. We'll see about that. Or maybe if I plan for CDL 2009-2010, hm...

In any case, I'm kinda glad it's an arena tour this year around, sorta. I hope the asia fans don't slaughter me D: But it seemed like the asia tours took a lot to pull off, and especially two years in a row. Maybe she can use more money to make the production better instead of traveling and all that. But then again, it's subject to change right?

As for a new album... I hope she doesn't rush anything. Unless the album is gonna be super-long, I don't want any more singles after Rule/Sparkle because then we've already heard like half the album... even if "Life" doesn't make it onto the album.

Where resting is concerned, she said she wanted to be allowed to work at her own pace, so maybe this is her pace? I think we can trust that she won't work herself too hard... hopefully.

jbrat2219 18th January 2009 01:23 AM

I hope one day to join the ranks of people who are able to fly to Japan for Ayu xD;

ayuchloe 18th January 2009 02:43 AM

asia tour is gone... and i am not glad about it

Suteisi 18th January 2009 02:45 AM

I'm out of school and work full-time? Lol

alternarist 18th January 2009 03:30 AM

Saving is the key!

Zeke. 18th January 2009 03:53 AM

^ Definitely. I feel like broken record when I always tell my story but I think it shows how determined I was to save. I pretty much started at the last minute around January of last year and worked 40 hrs a week at my job, sometimes late into the night and also had school every day (I was a Senior). I ate nothing but cereal for lunch and pretty much didn't eat anything else seeing as after school I would have to work and didn't have time to make anything to eat and certainly couldn't be spending my money on fast food everyday. I even put little sticky notes inside my wallet saying things like "SAVE YOUR MONEY! IT'S ALL FOR AYU!!" Ha ha. It was all worth it in the end.

SolarAngel 18th January 2009 12:50 PM

To be honest I prefer it this way. I feel that ayu's schedule for the past 2 years prevented her from coming out with songs at a consistent pace and has alienated her japanese fans to some degree. Album in March? Lol...

admkewe 18th January 2009 03:18 PM

Hi folks,
Any idea how to buy her concert ticket for Arena Tour 09? Still a noobie cos I only went to HK last year to watch her there >_<

You can try Yahoo! Auctions Japan, but those tickets can be a bit pricey depending on where the seats are. If you want to buy tickets while you're in Japan, there are many resellers that sell tickets for her concerts.

I'm getting my friend from Japan to buy me tickets, though, but she'll be buying them through the general sale, and those tickets (for the concert I'm going to) don't go on sale until April 15. If you have any friends in Japan, you can ask them to buy you tickets, too. =)

If you really just set your mind to it that you are going to go, it's possible and not as difficult as some might make it seem. Of course it definitely helped though that I already have experience living in Japan so I basically have no problem getting in and around and assimilating into the culture. Money wise, if you know what you are doing, it doesn't have to be an uber expensive trip either - the most expensive thing should be your plane ticket.

No... Arena Tour's are always held only in Japan. And she only went to Asia from September-November in AT08 - in AT07, she went to Asia in March and April.

ayuready1232 19th January 2009 10:29 AM

Wait, so will she add on tour dates for september in japan?

omg i didnt realize i can get tickets and stuff at a machine at convenient stores here hahahahahah xD i'll be doing that.

polka-dot-jewel 19th January 2009 06:22 PM

^ Yeah, that's how my friend's getting my tickets. But each concert date has a certain time period that tickets are available there so you'll have to check that first, and I'm not sure how quickly those sell out...

Yay! I'm going to the Yokohama concert on the 10th of May ^_________^

I've contacted my middleman to enter the Avex ticket lottery for me, which he did. But now he tells me that he will receive the ticket at the end of April  Will I know which seat I got, only when he receives the ticket or earlier?

You don't even know if you will get a ticket yet, let alone what seats. A ticket lottery is just that, a lottery. Only a certain number of randomly selected people will get tickets from the lottery. If you don't, then you need to try to get tickets from a different source. With the ticket lottery, no, you will not know what your seats are until you get the ticket about 2 weeks before the show.

Hachimitsu 16th May 2009 02:34 PM

New dates have been added in October. I'm interested in going to the 3rd of 4th October concert, but I was wondering, when will the tickets go on sale?
