She's really pulling out the rare songs if she performed Present lol. I don't even remember what it sounds like.

noidea 13th May 2009 07:32 PM

^ dito xD I think I never ever listened to it before, I think I will wait for a recording of the tour before I listen to the song, a nice little surprise^^

MissElin_ 13th May 2009 07:39 PM

Haha Present it stuck in my head. I hear the melody like eveyday. One of the most outstanding songs from that album imo. ^^

Ayumiko 13th May 2009 07:40 PM

Present...really? I listened to it yesterday!

njanjayrp 13th May 2009 08:29 PM

Present is ok, it's not my fave ASFXX song, but I am glad she is performing the older songs which she has never sang live in the past.

truehappiness 14th May 2009 12:45 AM

We still don't know if Present was mistaken for something else..

I'll stick "It might've been performed" in the first page.

AyUta 14th May 2009 01:38 AM

Wow, Present? I wonder.

truehappiness 14th May 2009 09:02 AM

Replaced videos.

Last two are in HD.

Insanes 14th May 2009 11:17 AM

Oh my mistake. I wrote "Present" but it is "Signal" ~~ Sorry for the confusion.

About the MC, Yoshio did not speak at all.

Subaru was dressed as a teacher and tought Ayu a game in french we call " 1,2,3, Soleil" with some other male dancers.

To resume it :

Ayu is front of the public and dancers are behind her on the stairs on the scene.

Then, Ayu has to say the equivalent of 123 soleil but in japanese (cant remember what she had to say).

While she speaks and has the dancers on her back, they have to move forwards to try to reach her.

Then, when she finishes her sentence, she turns around to face them.
At this time, they must stop and make no move or they are eliminated.

So you can have a strange pose and have to keep it until she decides to turn again.

2 difficulties :

- she can pronounce the sentence as fast as she wants to
- you have to keep the pose until she decides to continue

It was really funny, even if I could not understand everything they spoke about.

There were also a few questions from fans but not as much as previous MCs.
No dance teaching this time.

Thank you Insanes for the information and pics!
The pics are great.

LOL bless them for playing this game there xD
(In my country it's called 1 2 3 salt fish lol).

~X2RADialbomber~ 14th May 2009 12:28 PM

Is that 1 2 3 stop? Sounds like it.

Meat Pao 14th May 2009 01:14 PM

Thanks for the pics! And aww Yoshio didn't speak at all during the MC!? :(

tokyoxjapanxfan 14th May 2009 01:34 PM

is 1 2 3 stop the same thing as red light green light? lol

majrakun 14th May 2009 01:40 PM

Ah, that must be the 'Daruma-san ga Koronda' game I read about!

Insanes 14th May 2009 02:16 PM

@AyuGAME

Photos in the booklet come from the PCDL.

I'm in Japan now so I can't scan it but I'll try when I'll be at home again.

And yes, I got the ball Ayu signed during MC. A dancer also signed it. I was lucky. Just rose my hands to get it.

Is it Shu-ya? :P

Okay the game sounds REALLY FUN. I hope they either include that in the DVD (I think they would) or just continue this game for the rest for the tour (maybe at different stops, she can do with the female dancers, her band, her staff, etc)... after 8 years of MC-hosting it's time Yo-chan stops for a while lol ^^

Thanks for the MC review~

AyuGAME 14th May 2009 04:16 PM

Insanes - OMG!!! you are so lucky, directly from ayu hand?! wow...congrats to got it...
yeah please scan it if you can...thanks...

polka-dot-jewel 14th May 2009 04:41 PM

Oh you're so lucky to get one of those signed balls!!! And I am SO GLAD to hear they didn't teach the MY ALL dance! And that's weird that YO CHAN didn't speak... well, they were playing that game. Haha.

MissElin_ 14th May 2009 05:25 PM

WOW to get that ball!!! O.o
Who is the dancer?! :)

SKYia 14th May 2009 07:51 PM

I used to play it too when I was a kid, here it's called 1,2,3 Baba Jaga Patrzy (1,2,3 a Witch is watching), I want to see them playing on dvd :)

That sounds so fun!

Ayu threw out the balls (I was there) basically it's REALLY hard to get the balls unless you are within 10 meter to the stage or the catwalk or you are tall enough

SunshineSlayer 15th May 2009 08:39 PM

I'm glad to hear about the possible upcoming changes. Especially about Present. I've been dying for a live performance of that for so long!

noidea 15th May 2009 08:41 PM

Well we've only seen 2 minutes of it xD It'd like to see/hear the 2nd verse too (on the DVD). Honestly Present wouldn't really fit the general mood of the tour (if it wasn't the part of the encore). But yeah I'd like to see it performed once :)

tokyoxjapanxfan 16th May 2009 03:45 PM

In Hiroshima, A Song is Born, specially for Hiroshima.
The first day seemed to be sung with all instrumentals,
And second day, she cut Curtain Call and For my dear,
and sang a song is born just acapella.

This comes from MANY reports in mixi~
And in a side note, Maro sang a song in one of the dates in the encore~
I dont know how long the song was~ but he sung!
And people said he could sing good~

waterballoon 17th May 2009 07:07 PM

The fact that they included so many a capellas and not Life the last year annoyed me T_T I just hope that A Song is Born isn't going to end up the same way as it's been ages since it was performed >.< and I'd really like to hear it again.

Still :( The last time she did the song was in that World EXPO in 2004 (or 5). And the last time it was actually performed in a concert was on Stadium tour if my memory serves me well :)

truehappiness 18th May 2009 10:06 AM

Maybe she wants to keep it for special occasions? Probably this year's CDL if all goes well. Or a-nation.

keikeiaznqueen 18th May 2009 11:29 AM

Awwwh, oh man I almost forgot that they didn't include Life in the AT2008 DVD. Now I'm suddenly sad. :(

But a song is born aside, does that mean Ayu might make other additions to the setlist later on? Like... include SEASONS? :D :D :D Can't wait for the other surprises.

zyoeru 18th May 2009 11:33 AM

Wow. I'm surprised. After MY ALL. Weird. xD

aura~ 18th May 2009 12:22 PM

-____- I want to see it!!! but I would be dissapointed if I'm there and she don't sing curtain call and for my dear... the first day is the best, with the instrumental and without delating any performance...

well... they included Momentum, Jewel and Memorial Addres in AT'07 documentary... I hope she'll do the same with a song is born...

and... well... about the changes there'll be for the second leg of the tour... I mean... we don't know if all will change, the stage and all the tracklist... If they only change a few songs I hope there'll be a TV version like with AT 08... but if not... if everything is diferent... there'll be.... 2 DVD's?? DISC1 for 1st leg, DISC2 second leg and DISC3 extras?? because if all is different I want to see how the first leg was.... -____-

truehappiness 18th May 2009 12:23 PM

I think she'll probably put glimpses of the first leg in a documentary/making video, but.. other than that.. nothing.

Hopefully the second leg is jampacked with hotness. People seem to be underwhelmed by her performances this year.

MissElin_ 18th May 2009 12:34 PM

Ooooh I truly hope that she will have some making of this tour in the future DVD! Its like my favourite part everytime! :D

Or maybe they will broadcast in november the last permormace of the 1st leg, and then the DVD will only have the second leg... (who knows if it will bring documentary or extras... but since this tour has no special meaning as BofCDL is a best, AT07 first ASIA tour, or CDL 07-08 the anniversary... maybe will be extras again...)

I also hope the tour will change to a darker and hotter subject... I want more memorial and my story in the tracklist...

njanjayrp 18th May 2009 02:20 PM

AyuGAME 18th May 2009 05:04 PM

polka-dot-jewel 18th May 2009 05:44 PM

Actually, the message is talking about the swine flu. (I put the message into another translation site, and it was talking about the "new influenza", which is what they call the swine flu in Japan.) Apparently the swine flu is really spreading around fast in Japan, so I guess they're posting this to make sure people keep themselves healthy and precautious and such.

MissElin_ 18th May 2009 05:49 PM

yes with another place but I forget the name.
It's a good decision to take precautions

~angel*ayumi~ 18th May 2009 06:47 PM

Ah so they didnīt cancel as I feared 1 page before.
My friend is studying near Osaka, she said all schools (inc. her uni) and other official buildings were closed down for one week and many happenings were canceled.
They are not even aloud to take one feet at the campus.

maikaru 18th May 2009 07:05 PM

Hyogo and Osaka are the ones affected most, so they are telling you how to take precautions before the opening and during the concert.
Nothing is moved or modified~ dont worry! ahaha.

jbrat2219 18th May 2009 08:19 PM

I'm glad they're taking precautions to make sure everyone is safe. Too many sick people in a concert hall for several hours is not a good thing, even if it is to see Ayu haha.

AyUta 19th May 2009 12:14 AM

I hope they take proper care of themselves in there so as not to spread the disease.

zyoeru 19th May 2009 05:32 AM

^I'm sure they will. Aren't Japanese people usually diligent when it comes to colds/influenzas? :P

glitter_dream 19th May 2009 08:23 AM

I'm not really surprised that Japanese people are concern about the flu... I see they use the masks when they get a little sick...
Here in Mexico, the Hn1 something virus gave big trouble... Even though almost no one from where I lived was sick of that, (more than 2 weeks of vacations! yet they have already said the school will end 1 or 2 weeks later :(... ), people were freaking out and wearing those masks.
Last week, when we entered school, they also made us watch our hands and that sort of things, yet I guess it's good to take precautions.

Empry 19th May 2009 07:21 PM

According to this article: http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/music/66263/
Avex has cancelled the concerts of Ayu, Ai and Kumi in Osaka.

Press release: http://www.avex.co.jp/j_site/press/2009/090519.pdf

but she said in her TA message she was going to Osaka... -___-

well.. we'll see...

polka-dot-jewel 19th May 2009 08:45 PM

=O Oh wow...

I'm not surprised, actually. If they're shutting down school systems, I'm not surprised they're canceling concerts.

Thankfully, Ayu has more Osaka concerts in July, but I wouldn't be surprised if she adds more additional Osaka dates because of the cancellation of these.

MissElin_ 19th May 2009 09:37 PM

^Yeah probably. If the spred of the virus will slow down that will say...

ayumisrael 19th May 2009 09:54 PM

aura~ 20th May 2009 01:00 AM

i got my ticket email from team ayu, i got tickets to the oct 22nd show for sure :D I just have to go to a convenience store and pay for them ^_^ Keeping my fingers crossed for seats near the front or the center stage :D But my friend and I both ordered 2 tickets each, so whoever has the better tickets, we'll sell the other ones ^_^

edit: my friend didn't end up getting tickets from the raffle, so my tickets will have to do! hahaha
