I don't mind repetitiveness if it's catchy and not repeated TOO many times. Ayu uses just the right amount of "wow yeahs" in songs imo so they don't become too annoying or nauseating :P But yeah, the most annoying repetitive phrase in a Namie song is "COPY THAT" I think.. the rest haven't bugged me all that much. The wacky arrangements in some of her songs put me off more, so I hope Break it isn't another one of them.

I really don't mind the repetitiveness in COPY THAT, I actually love it.

On another note, somewhat unrelated to the new stuff going on with Namie, what do you guys think of her album GENIUS 2000? I was listening to it a few times already and it's the only album I can't get to love. Most, if not all non-single songs are just way too weird and boring. I'm just asking is there anyone who loves this album a lot? And which songs specifically?

I will listen to the whole album more though it's really hard to get through most of the songs :/

(I'm not bashing the album in any way xD. I would actually like to get to love it, that's why I'm saying all this)

^ Same with me. The tour made me like Genius 2000 more. Break the Rules is the album that I can't really get that into, with or without the tour.

As for the repetitiveness, the only song that it bothers me on is Sexy Girl. The rest often times I don't even notice it because it is so well integrated into the track.

^A performance or PV can make me instantly like a song I've strongly disliked before, it executed right.

On the whole repetitiveness subject, I was just making exaggerations of things.
If there is any kind of repetitiveness, it more or less fits the song and style of music and doesn't bother me at all.

Changing the subject, I cannot wait to hear a longer version of 'Break It'. I'd be ecstatic if she performed the full version of 'Break It' live on tv. Since that's not likely, a PV would suffice.
