And I don't mean that as a back-handed compliment at all as I actually like IDENTITY; I just mean that I'm sure her dedicated fanbase makes up a lot of that number because it seems like once a singer loses their heat, their sales usually normalize to a certain amount and it's probably due more to their dedicated fans than casual purchasers.

Aw at the video, she looks bored. I don't know what to think of the song but I hope she is able to take a break if that is what she feels she needs.

As I understand it, it's about BoA being in love but having to sneak around like a cat to avoid the paparazzi.

Thematically it's an interesting song because it's one of the first wherein she voices her displeasure about something. Not really confrontational, per se, but it's an interesting contrast to her earlier works wherein the songs are usually in a winsome, almost passive, tone. :yes

THE FACE is my favorite album by BoA ever!! the whole booklet is love, too. i still miss her long hair as well, but i'm content with her short hair now, since IMO it looks good. it looked much worse back when BUMP BUMP! was released. :P i do hope she'll use extensions or it'll grow out a bit longer, though! for when she has her next release.

I've just finished watching THE FACE Live Tour and it was a great concert!:)
I was expecting that the same thing, like with Ayu's Arena '09 happens - live will make me love the album :yes Even cutesy songs were listenable! I loved My Way, Your Way; such a great song! And omg MJ-esque part... I have no words. This was one of the best performances I've ever seen. <3 Her vocals, as usual, were perfect. AGRESSIVE was so powerful and Best Friend was an awesome ending of the concert! I was also pleasantly surprised that she had great contact with the audience! I wanted to jump during QUINCY too :laugh Sometimes live arrangements were better than from original audio version! For example A Song With No Name and LISTEN TO MY HEART. Medley was veery nice, but it's a pity that too short. Dakishimeru was amazing as always and Diamond Heart will always be one of my favourite BoA's songs <3

25th August - date of korean comeback/album release (and also her 10th anniversary)

I don't think there will be problems with promotion of single... It doesn't seem to be huge =P

They don't have physical single releases in Korea (at least not often) and in Korea they follow the same model as the rest of the world. AKA, a single release, an album with a lead-in single and then some more singles. With that model, promotion won't really start until a little while before the album, and for some time after that.

As opposed to Japan, where they first release ALL of the singles and THEN the album.
