the ayu mirrorcle world drawing looks so pretty
|
AMAZING!!! *.*
|
i want the HQ of her Ayu draw...
where can i get it? http://rajacenna.deviantart.com/art/...et=70#comments is there any other HQ? ^_^ |
As nice the drawing can be, it's another one who think that Internet is large enough and she won't get noticed for copyright infringement (thinking avex has better to do that to track this ), she must state the original pic isn't hers, she must mention the photographer and Ayumi herself ! Let's hope it won't turn as the nasty story of Mijn Schatje *sigh* why people keep to ignore basic rules as copyrights ?!

Wow~
if only i have 1% of her talent.... *sob* |
I saw this on the dutch news... it's really good, even my parents recognized Ayu :D
|
wow, finally, there's someone quite as good as me. sorry to sound arrogant. but seriously, i'm impressed. i usually see people who are "supposedly" good, but they have flaws in their proportioning of measurements when drawing human beings i can always pick out. i always find supposedly good drawers that have lack of shading skills too. but this, its one of the very, very, very few times i don't catch myself finding any shading or proportioning flaws. she is amazing.
but yea, i'd wish she'd tell people that it's Ayu she drew. i mean, a considerate artist would respect what she used to make her artwork. heh. |
I.... don't think it's that good. lol... There's no artistic expression here, just mimicry, and it's not even good (her mouth placement is a bit off and it's driving me crazy). If the drawings were a bit sketchier and less buffed, and if the drawings had higher contrast, I'd maybe like them better, but honestly I'm not that impressed. I'd rather see the girl do something creative with them (at least drawing ayu without the butterflies or adding a new environment to the negative space or something), which is totally possible to do and have the drawings still be realistic. She didn't even crop the picture in a unique way. There's no art or imagination here at all, she's just an inaccurate human photocopier.

Crazy. o_o
So, is she an Ayu fan? xD |

but you can't nitpick at the minor ill-measurement of her lips (and the eyes and contour of her face shape, which bothered me) after all, it's not a cm by cm copy. she's quite close, and overall, you got to appreciate that she's good at capturing the features of a person where you can know it IS the person, not just some face resembling it. that's where the line is drawn in what's good and what's not when it comes to reproduction drawing of real people. it truly looks like them. |
It doesn't really capture the "ayu-ness" enough for me. I feel like a drawing of Ayu should have more... personality, I guess? Especially when the original photo had so much. She really looked like she was looking towards something in the original photo, but she just looks like a statue here. I've seen pencil portraits that REALLY captured the essence of the subject, and this just doesn't.
