Well Avex sure cares (or did). The whole point of this single project is to hurry up and get to the 50th single which will simultaneously break the record. For the streak to be broken now would kinda ruin the point. *shrugs* I think it's natural for people to be wondering wth is going on.

Ayu is busy no doubt, but Arashi is much busier yet they are going to be doing at least some tv promotion.

I don't think Ayu should have to promote like she used to. She's been there and done that and deserves to take things a bit easier.

Is there any evidence that suggests she has all the songs written already? Just curious, since a 3-single project is a big job to work on with only a third of the music planned.

Their marketing team seems to think that its her hardcore fanbase that is going to buy this single, and trying to win over casual listeners is probably not possible this stage into her career.

That's true, however there is still 5 of them :P

Basically she is saying she has no time, her schedule is tough, and even though her deadline is right infront of her eyes, she still has to do Fukuoka lives, etc. But she told herself good luck and do your best, so I think she really does have no time.

We don't really know whats her schedule is like... to say it doesn't matter, she can still go on the television programs, etc... maybe her schedule is really that hard...

im surprised at the lack of promotion as well but maybe avex is holding such a tight grip on the music is so that its not leaked and ppl are forced to buy the cd that is why cd sales have been declining cuz of piracy. well at least thats the only explanation i can think of unless avex has something big planned and we just dont know

We have 2 more new songs comfirmed, but I really think the one that will be lead single in the 49th one was already recorded... =)
