[TRANS] 101018 TVXQ Trio 「JYJ」 To Have A 100,000 People Large-scale Concert

Over the course of 2 days on 27 and 28 November, the group「JYJ」, formed by TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, will hold 2 live concerts for their「JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul」in the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium of the Jamsil Sports Complex. The approximate scale of the two concerts is 100,000.

What is noteworthy about this concert is that it will be under the direction of Jeri Slaughter, who has directed concerts for world famous pop artists like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and more.

Slaughter said, "The Seoul showcase the other day is just the beginning. This concert will be the start of JYJ's global expansion, so the performances shown will blow away audiences around the world."

18 songs will be performed during this concert, including self-composed songs by the members, which will be released for the first time. In particular, a special colour laser equipment called "Phenom" will be used, a real time digital gesture recognition video technology, and a fantastic stage is expected to unfold.

Advance booking for the「JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul」begins on 19 October, from 6PM onwards, on the internet shopping site "Interpark".

I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet, though I'm sure you all know by now they've canceled the San Fran and Seattle tour stops in favor of Las Vegas and Hawaii, and moved the LA venue to the Galen. Apologies to everyone who wanted to go to these shows! Even though I had a feeling something like this might happen, it still doesn't make it right.

Now I'm really concerned for the US stops. We're still waiting on the NY ticket info and the show's less than a month from now. My friend's been calling the Hammerstein almost daily and they said there's still no concert scheduled on that date. Don't they have to like, let the venue know at least a few months in advance?

I said this before, but it's also not fair to those who are waiting on prices to get tickets. If they sell them any later than now, they'll be gone before we know it, which sucks for people that have been waiting since the announcement to go.

I'm REALLY not liking JYJ's staff now. First, they give us misinformation about who to contact about tickets, then have a "fan coordinator" send out info to all the fan sites instead of updating the official site. Next, they cancel the photo sessions with fans in Singapore, and now two US stops, with still no word on when ANY US tickets will be sold. Totally unprofessional, imo.

Actually your post is the first time I heard of them foregoing the Seattle and San Fran stops and going for LV and Hawaii. Though it doesn't affect me either way since none of their stops are close to where I live ;_;. I really hope for your sake though the staff and ticket coordinators figure their stuff out so you can see them live.
