Wow, I really didn't expect them to charge, not after Utada's WILD LIFE was streamed via Ustream for free. Or maybe, because that was so successful in views, avex saw it as being lucrative. Oh well, I was hoping for free, but I guess I'll just wait for a rip.

If it was $10 I'd pay just to show Avex that there's a fan here in Australia who'd really like to see her albums on the shelves here :P

I thought about buying a ticket for a moment, but then I read that it's not actually a "live stream", because it's says under "Caution":

•This is not a live broadcast. The recorded video of the performance on December 31st will be broadcasted.

U know guys... Ayu doesn't produce music and performs cuz she loves humanity or wanna make the world a better place... it actually is her job =) It's where her money comes from...

I think it might be because this is really last minute? I remember for Utada's concert, it was planned months in advance to be broadcast for free, but the Ayu concert is in like a week.

i'm happy coz overseas fans can watch it like few hours after the actual show..
but it's sad that we have to pay... if my internet connection is fast enough, i think i'm willing to pay.. but my internet *******s T__T so i can't..

In fact it was easier for them not to make us pay, as they had to look for a way to charge us ^^ There is really no excuse and while I'm aware that they aren't working for charity, they should also be aware that this isn't the way you're doing someone a favor, we'll just end up downloading it in the end :rolleyes as for almost $40 we can buy the actual DVD >_> and that's almost the price of an average concert ticket, so no matter how you look at it, it's too much for a streaming without an encore that's not even live.

I got up outta bed cause my phone kept vibrating with her twitter posts so I decided to check them to get rid of the damn noise and got all excited about being able to watch CDL, so I hopped onto my netbook to see more info.

Alas, fairly disappointed by this: no encore and it's not live and they're charging. :no I understand it's her job and all, but wouldn't common sense tell avex that we'd end up downloading it anyways if they charge. :grumpy

IMO,if we need to pay for it,we should watch it ON THE SAME TIME with the japanese.i don't see the need to pay for the 'delayed' live broadcast.furthermore it has no encore.just ignore how long did hikki spend to plan all these ustream stuff.
they mention this is for international fans too but it sound like abit insincere,IMO.if you want us to pay,why not broadcast it on the same time with the paid channel?what makes them different since WE do pay for the ustream also.

I got so excited at first, until I realized that you would have to pay...and no encore? Geez, Avex, thanks a lot. I really have nothing more to say, because you guys already said it. Oh well, I'll just spend my New Year with Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper. :)

It's probably because people may have already purchased the TV channel that will air the broadcast, and if all of a sudden they made it free online, whether it's live or not, some people might get angry?
