I like what I am hearing so far. It doesn't leave the strong impression of awesomeness that progress did, still it's MILES better than You & Me. Now I don't hear the "rock" part of the song anywhere, so I guess it is closest to Shimatani's Shinku arrangement-wise. Looking forward to the full song!

I wish the title was "A Song for ...you" it would be nice connection to A Song for XX, Song 4 U looks weird but I like it so far, gives me the progress 2 impression and fits the game IMO

Mmmh, better than You & Me. Sounds pleasant actually. But, and I have to agree with some people here it is a bit generic and it feels extremely familiar to older songs. I'll wait a bit, often I like Ayu songs better with time.

Dont let yourselves be too excited/disappointed about the preview. When we heared "progress" on the trailer it sounded like a cheap mix bwteen blossom and is this LOVE? (well, for me at least) , while the final version turned out to be super epic. Im hoping for a similar effect tbh

There's really no pleasing anybody here.
Everybody complains that releases don't sound as good as her old stuff.
Then we get something that is vaguely similar to her past work and people hate it for that reason.
I don't understand this logic.

I don't know about 'pushing it' with the SURREAL comparison because later on in the song I feel like I can burst into "Sono mama no kimi de ite hoshii" from the end of SURREAL.

It's just something I'm observing and I still love the song despite that.
