I'm sold already.
I knew this would happen.
That's probably why avex released that classical album: to give Ayu time.
She works her ass off anyway. She can push out an album a week.

I told y'all we'd get one!
This better be 'I Party Alone' featuring the songs 'Days Alone', 'Me & I', 'Free & Lonely', 'Sour Scar', etc...

setsuka 21st December 2012 03:52 AM

DEAD

please be like the first half of Party Queen, I need more sassy Ayu <3

Foyuki 21st December 2012 03:57 AM

but TA said there will be 15 tracks

TeamAyu2004 21st December 2012 03:59 AM

^ extra bonus track?

and I forgot about the CDL... that might be for the extra price...
I wonder why they are not including it this time as well.

MissElin_ 21st December 2012 04:03 AM

Wow...

But.. For me that means she's probably gonna pull another "conceptual album" that is gonna be sooo great and sooo PQ.....
I truly hope she proves me wrong this time around.

Although it's not a common practice, it's not unusual for an artist to release a mini-album and then put the majority of the songs from it on a full album (2NE1 (Japanese release) and OLIVIA have done it). As Zeke said, she hasn't been following her usual formula lately (no physical singles released prior to "Party Queen" and releasing mini-albums in single format) so there's no telling what she'll do with the little information we have. While some feel that she would have included information with this announcement that the songs would be on the album, it wouldn't make much sense for her to do so as she is currently promoting "again" since it is her latest release that's out right now. No one would buy it if people knew that the songs would end up on her full album right now so it would be smart on their end not to announce the songs this early. Although I'm not saying that the songs will definitely be on the album, it's not completely out of the realm of possibility. I would prefer it as I have not purchased "LOVE" and "again" just in case she pulled this stunt but the possibility that all the songs could be brand new is just as likely so I'll patiently be awaiting the release of the tracklisting information before I make a decision to buy the mini-albums.

TeamAyu2004 21st December 2012 04:06 AM

^ ayumi has never done this. Thats why i said it.
A ton of artist do put mini album stuff on full album.
BUT ayumi has not, and I wouldnt expect her to do it either.

truehappiness 21st December 2012 04:08 AM

Korean 'minis' are more like singles. If you look at most things called mini-albums in the J-pop industry, they usually don't end up on other releases.

adantatu2 21st December 2012 04:08 AM

Ayuma is releasing a new album !!!
Yay !!!

I want the songs from LOVE and again on this album because i don't have money u_u
anyway, i can save money in the future and buy them later if she is including new songs

Foyuki 21st December 2012 04:09 AM

actually yahoo.jp count LOVE and again as 51st and 52nd singles
so only 8 new songs I think and 3 interludes so 5 new tracks
http://event.yahoo.co.jp/ayu_countdo...2011_2013.html

Delicious n Bold 21st December 2012 04:09 AM

She just put them out as a mini album because she has 'Singlereleasaphobia'
It's a rare condition and commonly affects women who're almost at an age where their amniotic fluids rotten.

Something wrong there? Pretty sure Yahoo kinda just went with whatever RIAJ had after trying to stick to what avex was saying about the ~mini albums~. I don't think they're going to put the 7 songs from the minis on here.

Foyuki 21st December 2012 04:12 AM

^ RIAJ classified LOVE to singles too

TeamAyu2004 21st December 2012 04:12 AM

^ Nope, they put it as an EP which all EP's end up on the Singles charts.
RIAJ doesn't have a cat. for mini albums

you are going to burn. LOL
what does yahoo know?

you said yourself that TA said 15 new tracks?

MissElin_ 21st December 2012 04:13 AM

I always thought it was as easy as Ayu and Avex trying to get a #1 album this year. Even though the race already was lost they probably thought they might as well try it out, just in case. There's no harm in trying. :P

Delicious n Bold 21st December 2012 04:14 AM

15 tracks?
If no song is released as a single cuz Ayu has Singlereleasaphobia, that's like 12-13 songs plus inevitable interludes unless Ayu ditches them (I hope so)

TeamAyu2004 21st December 2012 04:15 AM

^^ please, really? With all the best albums out?
they might have had a better chance with a number 1 single.

and I just thought about it, MAN. Ill be in japan in march... I could have just waited... but then again.. if I wanted all the special stuff I need to order it.

But like I said, she also has never not released physical singles before an album like "Party Queen" and she also hasn't released mini-albums formatted like singles either like "LOVE" and "again". That's the point I was making. She's done things recently that she's never done before so it's been pretty hard to determine what she'll do if she's changed her formula recently from what she's done for the majority of her career.

I was referring to 2NE1's Japanese mini album as an example (which is why I put Japanese in parenthesis next to it). All of the songs on their Japanese mini album with the exception of one song ended up on their full Japanese album. OLIVIA is Japanese and the majority of the songs on her series of mini-albums ended up on her album.

As I said, although there's a possibility they won't end up on the album (she stated before that she had enough songs that she made during the "Party Queen" era for a second album so she has the material to make this a completely original album), it's not completely out of the realm of possibility. As much as I would prefer not to have to buy "LOVE" or "again", having an album with all brand new songs is even better. My wallet would be screaming in agony but it would be better in the end, especially for those who purchased "LOVE" and "again".

Well, with the competition (like four best albums or so) I don't think they thought they were getting #1 anyway.

Where they were released doesn't really matter. I wouldn't expect their management to really follow 'standard Japanese practices' anyway.
