To be honest I thought it was fanmade first time I saw it, especially the fact that it's dubbed in English and the voices are amateurish.

But it's nice the fact that they revived the cartoon idea for ayupan. The animation is also quite nice and it's quite adorable the idea.

Just disappointed in the voices though. Could've also been better in Japanese.

The moment Ayupan started talking I had to stop. I'm probably not in the target demographic cause I thought it was pretty awful

Well, the art style was cute, but the voice acting was garbage. The actors themselves were unconvincing (Bloody Bunny's "Who Are You?" towards the beginning was just so flat), you could hear noise feedback as if they were speaking too close to a laptop microphone, and the characters' lips weren't synced with the words.

I didn't think the voice actress was that bad. She sounds like I've heard her in an anime before. I think the lines were pretty horrible, not necessarily the acting skills.

They need a better mic setup, really. It sounds like they used the mics on their laptops or some free microphones that had lying around.

If you watch it then you will see in the credits its official. Ayumi herself does not have anything to do with it except for her music but Avex is behind it. Theirs actually a few people behind this so its not just like 2 people doing some animation stuff

It wouldn't exactly be hard for me to put things like the avex logo & the names of avex employees on something like the ayu wiki. Wouldn't make it truly official.

I mean by now avex would probably have taken action if this really wasn't an official thing & the makers of Bloody Bunny had just put ayu's name on it, but you can bet with how low-quality this is - the clipping on the voiceover work is just AWFUL - and how much we're noticing (the fact that we're even discussing "is this really official?" is quite telling), someone at avex has faced disciplinary action for not properly overseeing this.

which means they have Avex's permission. Its not avex itself otherwise it wouldn't be free :P, its 2SPOT STUDIO who got permission through avex and ayu and probably someones a ayu fan their or even them giving something for ayus international fans

Animation is cute, sure, but I don't watch anime, never have never will because I find them annoying and irritaiting. Plus the story in this is non-existing.
This is soooo not meant for me, but I'll add this to my ayu-collection since this is an official release.
