I donīt care about the printed lyrics that much, but I also still buy CDs for a few of my favourite artists (Namie Amuro, Joey Yung etc.), just because I want to have the whole collection ;)
However, CDs will definitely not survive much longer (max. next 10 years). The current generation of listeners is just not used to buy CDs. Moreover, they usually do not own a CD player at home. So I think that legal downloading (via iTunes and similar services) is the only was how this business may survive. They just need to promote the legal downloading in a right way ... |
