This was the place that was up for sale but it seems like she's decided to keep it since there's that photo in it and it's been taken off the real estate website.

It's the house called 'Beach House' in the Lifestyle book and, according to the real estate website from the time, it's located in a gated community, Zushi City, two hours (by car) outside of Tokyo's centre.

In the Lifestyle book there are three houses mentioned; the Beach House, which is this one; the Main House, which I assume is in more central Tokyo; and the LA house, which someone had said, I believe, was up for sale/rent again.

i remember she has a house in fukuoka as well, is it not the beach house?

It's really strange. Everyone thought that the Beach House was in Fukuoka because that was the first time we saw bits and pieces of the pool area and such; while she was approaching the Fukuoka dates for one of her tours (I have no recollections of when this was exactly). Obviously the Lifestyle book doesn't say where the house is exactly but the real estate listing when it went up for sale did;
You can see the thread on the forum that was made when the house went up for sale here. So, it would seem, Ayu either doesn't have a property in Fukuoka or, if she does, it wasn't featured in the Lifestyle book. I, personally, think she doesn't have a place in Fukuoka.

The Main House is likely more central Tokyo, since some of the photos she takes while in Japan at times when she's doing rehearsals and stuff have little features that can be seen in the Lifestyle book, related to the Main House.

So, what seems to have happened was; Ayu had the Main House and Beach House, both having been mentioned in interviews also. She moved to LA and got the LA house and, since she was settling down in LA more, she decided to try and sell the Beach House in Japan. When she decided to go back to Japan, she put the LA house up for sale/rent and we would have thought that that would have left her with just the Main House. But, as it turns out, with the Beach House's listing removed from the website and those photos of Ayu with her crew in it, it just happens that she's kept the Beach House.

Lol, maybe she couldn't sell the beach house for anyone because it's really expensive and not many rich people have the amount of money she has, or that at least interest in a beach house.

How do we know she is selling the LA house? So she is moving back to Japan for good then? (And her husband with her?)

Don't know about her husband, but I'm pretty sure she is. Because she mentioned in interviews and on TA how her stay in LA was her running away and now she realised that was the wrong thing for her to do :)

I doubt that it was a case of no one being able to afford the Beach House. I think it was more of a case just that nobody had bought it by the time she decided not to sell it and move back to Japan. In general, homes of that cost take a while to sell.

How do we know it's ayu's? Does it remsemble anything from the LIVE STYLE book?

I loved her music room there.

My favorite house of her was the beach house in zushi so I'm happy she didn't sell it eventually. She can invite me over for a PJ party now. :P

So if it's all true then she moved to Japan for good, probably with her husband if he's seen with her on PV shoots and tours.

Seems like Ayu tried to sell the L.A. house last year too?
I thought her husband was a student in America still so I wonder if he is moving to Japan? I imagine she will still go to L.A. at least once a year as she has been doing that for ages but I guess not enough to warrant owning a house there.

Selling a house doesn't mean you are moving away form the city.
