Ok, I was a little rude! But it's a lazy mood to just tell this without search any information on internet,
La perla is a luxury brand, they plays with the sm moove, but always control!!

I understand this is sexy, maybe too much for some people, but this isn't an Asian brand, and all is smart and not vulgar!!
Ayu already made some sexy pics... bikini, topless, ... And a cover album was more vulgar and trash!!

She is a model for a luxury international lingerie brand! For a 37yo , it is more a feminist act than a submitted one...

I love the lingerie world and then I am not objective, but I am tired to read ... People writing without to know...

I apologize and don't worry I am not angry haha

^ I just don't understand why you took it out on my post. I called the photo 'sexy and classy'. Whatever.

LiDaYu 6th February 2016 10:10 AM

Yes this part is not about you! That is a global fed up about all comments! And then your post was, for me, the most lazy about the second part and then upset me... during 5 minutes ;)

It would be awesome if she make a sexy song for this collaborations. A lyrics like MNIW or SLT and music like downtempo ballad and hip hop influence (*cough* Blue Jeans Lana Del Rey vibe). Eyes Smoke Magic kinda close.

I find really interesting how people still calling this raunchy since we are not in the 20' or 30' era... I really like to know how you buy some lingerie looking in a catalog, I guess that kind of people find dirty some models showing the skins everybody has. If you feel comfortable with yourself you can do whatever you want to do, and also Ayu has never being virgin mary. And please this is not a session for playboy megazine either.

It is a confidence boost because so many women are used to judging themselves by what others think, which is sad.

Being promiscious is not a bad thing if it is the womans choice. If that is what she wants to do, she has that right.

Also, nudity does not always equal sexuality. I don't like nudity when it is used to sexualise or for exhibition but Ayu's pictures are always artistic and shot with class and elegance.

I think she looks beautiful and I wish she would pose nude for an art shoot, it would be stunning.

Hey you! I thought a lot about what the things I said and decided I had a very poor choice of words about this matter. So I edited my post. I hope my message is crystal clear right now.

I agree 100% with you!

Feminism, huh? Well, when I look at these pics from that point of view, they look a lot better and less Fifty Shades which I don't like at all. I won't write my reasons here because fans will be so butthurt over it lol.

Thank god it isn't tbh. I have nothing against Ayu being sexy but if she ever posed for Playboy magazine, I wouldn't support it very much.

The problem is Ayu's posing isn't lingerie-model-pose. It's more like AV-idol pose. The two pictures in red could easily be mistaken for AV-related promotional stuff. And to be honest, I don't think Ayu's career will survive her being widespread associated with AV work.

@Fubuki, even though we are not sharing the same ideas about this photograph, I think your post was very insightful. I think the only way I can convinche you in liking this picture is to change your view on this theme. You saw something captivating and story telling in controversial pictures like LOVEppears cover and the Because of You PV. It might be a bit harder to look for something 'behind the scenes' with the La Perla picture, because it is very commercial. The reason why I love the photograph is that she is playing with a fantasy that is male but above all very female. I really do not think that she is dressed (or undressed) like this because "Japan likes to see her that way" or that she is forced to do anything against her own will. If she posed for such purposes it would be very unlike her. To me she is speaking as a powerful woman caught in her own fantasies and dreams.

Maybe it is a very sexist thing to say about my own gender but... our sexuality, or our identity, is a confidence boast. It is not necessarily promiscious to be open about it. I think that is the best thing you can keep in mind while you look at Ayu in this picture. But if that is something you cannot agree with that is totally fine. The difference between our thoughts keep the balance between what is acceptable and what is not. I respect that.

IMPORTANT EDIT: I would like to rephrase one thing I said in this post, and that is that our gender/sexuality gives us (women) a confidence boast. Naturally, this would be in an ideal world. It was very naive of me to say such thing while there are a lot of girls and women in the world that still suffer from several problems only because they are born female. We cannot simply turn our heads away from that and say it is all good. I have thought a lot about this sentence and decided that this has been a very poor choice of words. My apologies for that. What I meant to say is that our sexuality - in whatever form it comes - is that could give us a confidence boast. Because, sexuality does not mean a gender, but feeling okay with who you are and want to be. And that is something we should not be ashamed to be open about it. So, seeing Ayu being comfortable by who she is and feeling beautiful by doing so, is an huge inspiration!

Yes., I agree with you. There has never been anything about Ayu's semi nudes that say she is doing it to impress men, they say, I am doing this for myself and I am proud of her for that. Its a celebration of herself, she isn't doing it to be used as an object of arousal, her independence shines through.

^^

Ayu looks SO good! If she didn't want to do it, she wouldn't - her career is what she wants now. I wish I felt confident and sexy enough for something like this!! Her body is SO fit and healthy right now, so go for it Ayu!!

All her shootings are million times photoshopped.

mizuki-7 9th February 2016 12:43 PM

I'm always shocked when I hear things like she is almost 40 or so ...so what ? she should stop showing any part of her skin and put a turtleneck for the rest of her life ? It's unbelievable ! maybe it's a cultural thing but to me a women over 30 is synonyms of confidence and she shouldn't be ashamed to stay glamorous/sexy and bold ! Considering there is absolutely nothing which lends to vulgarity here ... it's for a luxurious brand not for an attention seeking !

Chibi-Chan 9th February 2016 12:46 PM

^^people tend to forget that.

MessiahofSilence 9th February 2016 02:28 PM

Speaking of signatures and avatars, where is the photo you have used in yours taken from?
