I'm really diggind Xelakad's A Song for xx, reminds me a bit of poker face from ayu-mi-x 7 but fiercer. Also it was so good listening to TO BE and HEAVEN acappellas wow

This project is really great, and so simple for avex to execute. Just share stuff and let people work on it, everybody wins something this way.

btw also funny that just these days we were discussing if avex had storage of stuff other than the final versions and a couple of days after that they announce the release of 100 acappella songs lol

One of my favourite ayu fan made remixes is SEASONS (James Merrifield remix) which was an entry in one of the AHS Remix Contest, can't remember the year. I wonder if he still makes music.

ayu-mi-x series was so good. I remember the day that limited released "the other side" could be USD1000 for the whole set on Yahoo Auction.

I'm just a little pissed because Adooph is spamming the hashtag #ayumix2020 on youtube with old remixes from years ago, he's just throwing the # on all of his old vids like they're related to the challenge. I'm not saying the guy is not talented but his remixes are very LQ sounding and he never does full songs, I am looking on the hashtag to find new remixes, not listen to Adooph LQ remixes.

I was never a fan of remixes, they all sound the same anyway - EDM or other electronic stuff. Plus a lot of the people fail to match the tempo of vocals to the tempo of music and it ends up sounding really dumb lol

I wish people would explore different genres with remixes.

That SEASONS one was nice~ And those rock tracks are pretty dope lol Although evolution already has pop rock influence as original, but it's cool to hear the PURE rock version~

^ Just because you've heard multiple songs from the same genre doesn't mean that all electronic music is the same. It's as diverse as rock, just saying.
