Oh yar, and there's such a thing called sunken double eyelids. That means that your second eyelid is sunken in but you do have one. However, if you manage to open your eyes wide enough (which doesn't even require your eyes to open to its max), yup, you can see them!

I have friends who have these sunken double eyelids and well, you can see them when they are like opening their eyes normally. It's only when they get tired and stuff then you can't see them.

i seriously just think its her MAKE-UP...

do you guys seriously think that she puts make-up on like a normal person? NO...just like every other celebrity in the business, they're literally "painted."

just like in America, i saw this documentary once on make-up...and the people are crazy about it, how else would people like Kim Catterell and Madonna still look even slightly pretty...

besides the make-up is so thick, and also, her hair style can make a huge difference on how the shape of her face is portrayed, some styles could make it seem longer than others

I really believe that Ayu is just a "normal" person who is talented...she has a lot of features, that in the fashion world are flaws : she's short, she dropped out of school, her eye is bigger than the other, she didn't grow up in a traditional family, i think that her army of make-up/hair people are trying to cover all that up, trying to make her perfect.

Um.. i think she's done surgery for her eyes even though sometimes it is really not that noticable. The most noticable I've ever seen was on the Rainbow PV, like the parts with her singing to the song (not the twins parts). You can tell if one has done surgery for their eyes is when one they close their eyes, it should have this scar kinda thing. I think the rest are just her makeup. And the face part, how it changed, it's totally her hairstyle, plus she's lost so much weight compare to when she was younger, so wouldn't you think the shape of her face changes..? I think Ayu herself is quite real, although many say that she is fake.

I have this friend that totally hates Ayumi and she has never ever listened to any of Ayu's music. All she's heard was Ayu's talking voice and she hates it. So one time, my friends started talking about ayu (they don't really know i'm a huge fan of her) and THAT friend kept saying Ayu was a living plastic doll and that she's fake and how she sucks because her voice (talking voice I suppose) sounds like crap.

I really don't think she is a living plastic doll because like if she's done a LOT of plastic surgeries, don't you think it would kinda "show" after SO many years? No offence to BoA fans, but we all know BoA has done lots on her face and it is starting to show right now, many parts of her face are really "fake" compare to when she was younger.

Yeah, I have definitely noticed with BoA - I've never really noticed with Ayu.

Also, when is Ayu having the time to do all this tons plastic surgery? She is always touring, recording, doing photo shoots etc., she has had absolutely no adequate time for recovery from any kind of surgery in the past 5 years.

Yeah I agree!~ I think AYU didn't have surgery I have tons of Japanese friends and I never heard of them saying AYU having a surgery even though I hear them talk about Brittney Spears have plastic surgery LOL <^_^>

i am one of few who never believe hamasaki had ever done eye surgery,
looking at her older photos and comparing them with the newer ones, i believe she had never had an eye surgery, her eyes look the same to me now n then

no matter, i wouldn't mind if she had, i love her for what she is...

lol i noticed that one of ayu's eyes seem noticibly smaller dan the other( i no its not a word) she always seems to put lots of eyeliner and mascara on teh other slightly bigger eye... though she had no make up in it, the eye size difference seem to me the very obvious in the love destiny pv.

Actually, I dont think BoA has done ne surgery .. i personally dont like boa or her music but i think the reason her face is starting to become all.... holey is because of makeup use from an early age. The girl has been putting on tons of makeup since 13! for the sake of god its gotta show sometime!
