The original songs are never better, right? Such as a revised edition, that means it's better right? Soooooo if we just think of it as the original, we'll appreciate it more. PRIDEEE

LOL, Geo has a lot of songs similar to other artists...and seriously...it does sound like it. It's as though they "REARRANGED" it.

copying and stealing music for your own material usually leads to great things or a shameful reputatuion. so if someone fools everybody i usually envy them.
And i just noticed i misread the original post...
Sweetbox needs a new album...cuz I want some classical/pop goodness in my tummy

i prefer sweet box version, the only i prefer from ayu is ladies night

freedreamer 18th February 2006 03:11 PM

Fav tracks: Addicted, Here comes the sun, Every Step, Beautiful Girl, Happy Tears

Ok tracks: Graceland, Pride, Break Down, Over & Over,

Not gd: Bold & Delicious, Dreams, Ladies Night, Vaya Con Dios, Million Years

Ayu really picked the better songs to sing...I wonder why she loved BnD and Ladies Night so much...From the previews, these two songs are bad..

Ayu should have covered Addicted instead of In The Corner...LOL...(im not saying In The Corner is bad; its one of the better new songs)

Eternally 19th February 2006 05:22 PM

Wow, Sweetbox actually makes B&D and Ladie's Night sound good. But then again, I'm a Sweetbox fan hehe.

ayushiteru 20th February 2006 10:34 PM

My only problem w Sweetbox is there lyrics that sound like something a 14 year old girl would write in her diary..

sexysaucestar 22nd February 2006 07:23 PM

Jade's voice kind of annoys me...I think I'd appreciated Sweetbox more if their lyrics were better (and if her voice didn't annoy me).

I love Sweetbox but I agree. Jades voice is very mainstream and there is nothing unique about it. The only way I can describe her voice matched w the lyrics has to be "American Idol" or "Disney Channel" bc it's just soo normal, you know? I don't know if that makes sense..

I'll be honest, "pride" and "every step" weren't AWFUL... but the rest were. B&D especially, it sounded really clumsy.

That's what I thought the first time I heard the songs!! and talk about the lyrics!!! :no it's like she's playing to make music.

Ayu's songs are strong and sound like real music.

but ppl dig this type of music. :o

charneko 23rd February 2006 08:08 AM

Hmm... at www.sweetbox.com they have some longer versions of the samples and I think a lot of the songs actually sound better when you hear a bit more of them... :)

(If you go to the "News" section you can get a link to the samples without having to sign up.)

minkAYuko 23rd February 2006 08:46 AM

And just cause I had nothing better to do...

SWEETBOX VS AYUMI HAMASAKI
from the previews one song after another...

BTW SB songs make me appreciate ayu's after all.
