LOL she look like jeniffer love hewitt

*hearT_Place* 3rd March 2006 05:43 AM

She looks really nice (blonde aside), but, how do I say this...she looks like every other elegant famous person out there. I like that she's not so "look how punk I am", but there's just something about her new look I don't like...

But what really matters to me is whether or not her music will have improved.

Nu-NRG 3rd March 2006 07:10 AM

I really love her in this look...a lady like style :p
but then I'm too used to her puncker rocker chik look :no
this is good once in awhile but not for too long

Anyway... She kinda looks like Nicole Kidman. I think she looks much better now.

*DIES FROM ALL THE SNORTING* :mischief

ahhh! who cares? really? it's people that are too concerned with their own looks that they look at how other people look and compare themselves to her/him. oh and to be honest, why should it matter how Avril Lavigne looks? why should it matter how anyone looks? It's the media and self-conscious people that say that people have dress and look a certain way and I can't stand that at all.

Kikaru 4th March 2006 01:47 AM

My first initial reaction: OMG! what the heck did you do...?!?

I actually think she looks really pretty. She was really pretty when she was younger, before rebelling and this image give her a very sophiscated look. I like it. :)

s.k.y 4th March 2006 07:38 AM

i think she looks stunning
heheh, her rebellious-phase is over and now comes the mature-phase!

~*Mabushii*~ 10th March 2006 07:10 AM

She looks alot nicer, but I really really hate her shoes.. something about them..
they dont look comfortable at all, and the heels are pretty ugly :P

littlefairyfromnam 12th March 2006 02:37 PM

Her eyebrows match her hair. There's always a plus.

tinyppl 12th March 2006 04:19 PM

Wait, I thought she really hates dressing feminine and such? I remember she has dissed uh well who's that..okie I forgot.

But anyway, she really gave me the impression that she hates dressing girly and always like to portray the heck-care-****-up so called rock attitude -.-

and damn after seeing this pic, it really shocked me. How will her music be like now?

Maybe it's photoshopped?

elepop 12th March 2006 07:17 PM

Beautiful. :yes And she looks a lot like Nicole Kidman.

Her "look-at-me-i-am-a-skater-girl-badass-not-a-pop-princess" look was bad indeed. Awful. But... why do celeb keep on "re-invent" themselves? Wasn't Avril the girl who said that she hates to dress up?

What? Celebrities have to reivent themselves or else they will fall into oblivion. Do you think such a thread would even exist if Avril were in her regular skater clothes? definitely not. So the change surely had an effect, it catches people attention. Also the fact she dresses up for a photoshoot doesn't mean she loves dressing up (I hate formal clothes but it doesn't mean I won't wear them to go a very important event, far from that).

I think it's suck that celebs change and re-invent themselves. After all the changes, you're not even sure of who they are anymore. Christina Aguilera for example, she went from squeaky clean, to a prostitude and now she got the classy Marilyn Monroe thing going on. So who is the real Xtina now? I guess we'll never know. Next year, she'll have a new look again...

No, I think that now Avril likes dressing up. Because, hey. The Grammies is a very important event, and she wore a men's tuxedo back in her skater days. Now, she's all "clean" and pretty.

Not only Xtina does that: hitomi changed completely from her very first album up to her most recent releases. The same could be said about ayu. Who are them now then? And who's real Xtina? the real one is obviously the current. People are who they are at that moment. My tastes as a kid aren't the same as me as an adult. And even speaking of relatively recent things, I dress completely different than I used to 4 years ago. People change their tastes and that doesn't mean they're losing themselves. Madonna has changed her music and style several times and to be quite honest, even though she actually lost a great part of her fanbase, she wouldn't exist today if she still kept trapped in her past music (imagine if in every album Madonna were to release a song that sounded like Material girl just in order to be "true to herself"? The music of 2000 is definitely different from the 80's and it would just sound pathetic for her to stick in the same thing and recycle it over and over.) And that's what sucks: artists doing and recycling the same stuff over and over, that's what lead "Do As infinity" and "day after tomorrow" to die and fade. Changes motion things in nature, stability leads to stagnation.

Christina did best as the nympho prostitute too. Even Kylie Minogue reinvents non-stop. Ayumi too?

Yes, Ayu re-invent herself constantly.
