Coconut Madness, Squeezed Peach, Twisted Orange and Lemon Typhoon. :roflmao :laugh :roflmao

We already went over this. She is the spokesperson for the new drink Jian Li Bao Remember the interview pics long time ago?

That's what those are. The Flavors available are: Pear & Honey, Mango, Orange & Honey, Lemon & Honey and Kiwi.
(why they put honey with all of them, I don't know. Sounds yucky)

I also found this article from last december:

The fate of Jian li bao - a canned lemon flavored beverage prominently endorsed by the Olympic gymnastic champion Li Ning, is a typical example of the rude awakening. Despite endorsement and heavy advertising, the product achieved less than 16% market share in a competitive market. When they became aware of their local and foreign competitors grassroots coverage of the market, Jian li bao belatedly announced a "Hundred trucks, thousand men and ten thousand outlets" campaign in an attempt to recoup share from their market share-stingy competitors.

It seems that they didn't make enough with that marketing campaign, but they will probably do better with Ayu. Hopefully

Haha.. at least the drink's color is not as deep as fanta... it keeps make me shudder to drink fanta... imagining those food color contaminating my stomach ^_^

i think the bottle design don't represent a beverage product... it's better to be used at cosmetic ads... they can use photo of ayu drinking the 5th seasons... it'll make us more thirsty (like what they did at kirin supli ads... that really make me thirsty! ^_^)

I don't know about Ayu, But I wouldn't drink a fruit drink that's mixed with honey. Bleh. I'll stick with my orange juice. Yum yum.

ImpactBreaker 11th February 2003 10:13 PM

ugh me don't like honey :P And there are 2 repeated flavors: Mango and Kiwi (kiwi flavor = Mango + Strawberry) so there's not much difference.

AyuRlz 14th February 2003 11:50 AM

honey is so nice!

miruku 15th February 2003 09:36 AM

i guess ayu is really trying to break into the market throughout asia.
