Um, on that note, ayu DID want to do songs like B&D herself. I don't think it's more butchering than that remix. =P Anyway, we can't tell at all, we know little of her music tastes ro what she's thinking at every moment.

I also thought that perhaps ayumi herself regulates the number of remix albums to a certain extent, and perhaps she wants some kind of special event before releasing (like with MY STORY Classical). Personally I'd want her to do more trance or something like A BALLADS, perhaps in a different genre, like rock.

i think ayu has a lot of mix album
but it stop since rainbow era...
maybe she will release it later

^there are some more recent ones, MY STORY Classical is from 2005.

Why would Ayu not want them? I thought she liked Dance music and such, I mean, alot of her music has a huge 'dance/techno' flavor to them and I remember reading about how when she was young she spent alot of time dancing at the velfarre club where she liked the music (velfarre is mostly trance music).

Also, I wish she would stop "experimenting" with remixes... I think she may be done as well because her "Bold & Delicious" single had some pretty good remixes on them and now she is releasing a new trance remix on this new single "BLUE BIRD" so maybe she is heading back to her old favorite style!

Also, hearing how Ami used to sell millions makes me sad because what if Ayu ends up like that someday? I would be so sad...

I belive it is more or less impossible for Ayu to end up like that. She is just too huge. Even if she by intent started making REALLY bad music there's still be people who'd buy her releases because it is Ayu, someone they have loved for 8 years... hehe. Well, that's a bit unrealistic :D .

It's hard to know, I don't know very well who Ami is or was, but my guess is that even if she sold a lot previously she was seemingly unable to steal such a big piece of the peoples heart as Ayumi has managed to do with her charisma and hard work.

I miss her A-yu-mix too!!I would rather want her to release a Remix album then releasing singles every 2 or 3 months..and eventually they'll be in one album too..-_-...Maybe Avex doesnt want to pay too many DJ/mixers for Ayu anymore..and that just sucks..
