Of course Ayu is the best among the Best!!! Powerful performances, unique costume support, brillant voice, many more..but not mentioning that she forgets her lyrics....hehehe!!
I also think, Hikki is a great performer in spite of losing her range in her live performances.
Hitomi is also great!1

It's between aiko and Yuki Koyanagi for me. But I chose Yuki. Either way, other.

Ayu - her tours are just plain CRAZY!!! They look so fun to be at, everyone get to join in and the atmosphere just seems indescribeable!! Although she doesn't dance much, but her stage presence is awesome! Her stage designs are also really good and the way she portrays herself and her music makes her a really good singer and entertainer.

Kuu - I love Kuu live!! Her voice is really powerful on the CD and live and that's what I love about her. She always sings live and if she's doing complicated dancing she backtracks which I don't mind at all. (its better than lipsyncing) Her stage presence is always good and she always looks like she's having fun and ready to sing for the people who support her! I also love the way she includes her audience as well..

Namie - So Crazy Tour DVD won me over! I wasn't really a fan before, I listened to the odd song but after buying the DVD... WOW!! She can put on a great performance.. Not as good as Kuu or Ayu, but still pretty good.. I really like the fact that she can dance and sing at the same time and still sound fine.. Though her stage presence isn't as great and the atmosphere doesn't seem as powerful as Ayu's or Kuu's...

BoA - She's a good dancer, though I don't think she's naturally a good dancer. She does what the choreographer tells her to, but meh.. She pulls it off well.. Her singing voice is also really good and I love her ballads live.. =D So powerful... The only thing I don't like is the fact that she lipsyncs...

1st - Ayu it's the best

2nd - Don't have Tomiko Van? Utada Hikaru...

3rd - Hitomi Shimatani

God... I can't believe Ayu has the most votes... I love Ayu, but in all honesty, I don't think she's that great of a singer, she is... but compaired to the rest up there she isn't (please don't kill me, it's just my thought). Ayu is horrible at lives, she obviously doesn't use her vocals correctly. Utada, Mika, and BoA on the other hand are real singers and know how to use their voices correctly, and BoA puts up a great show in dance and performance, I'd say BoA is the best live performer, I'd go to hers over all other concerts (except Morning Musume cuz I'm an otaku =P)

Alessia_Tateno 20th February 2007 05:59 PM

I agree gogirlanime, but they like Ayu's live 'cause she spends a lot of money for the appearance, she can't entertain her fans without it on lives =P

Annabelle 22nd February 2007 01:57 AM

Namie, Ai-chan, YUI. They sound great live, and their live performances captivate me.

love_addict 27th February 2007 07:57 PM

Mika, BoA, and Namie. Mika has some really good performances and some off ones, but her good ones are so beautiful! BoA can dance and sing at the same time really well.

Namie - she is GREAT. she sings so well while she's dancing... amazing.
Hikaru Utada - she has great vocals but she's a bit boring :/
Ai Otsuka - her concerts are very funny, she performs well and she is amazing at the piano

Ayu! ^^

Bazaa 3rd March 2007 10:30 PM

Utada and Namie =3

viola_123 6th March 2007 11:12 PM

namie amuro is absolutly my favorite.
ayu'd be if she'd dance a little better... but hey
ayu's a great entertainer overall! :innocent

-Aisuru- 18th March 2007 11:51 AM

^Agreed. I will like her better if she'd dance better. But she is still my number 1.

Well, this is my list :

1. Hamasaki Ayumi :shimmy I really love her Heaven and A Best Black!!

2. Yui Now that, Yui's Rolling Star is awesome. That's what made me put her at number 2.

3. BoA I bought her Made In Twenty (20) Album. It was good but not as good as A Best Black! I like the Winter Love and Key of Heart so she is at number 3 now!

4. Otsuka Ai Well I don't listen to her much but her very first song that I ever heard was "Friends" (fu-ren-zu) and it is freaking nice and sad.

5. Utada Hikaru I don't really listen to her songs nowadays. I know she has a new album but I haven't check it out. :/

6. Mika Nakashima and Hitomi Shimatani I have very little of these 2's song but they are really good. Can consider the least I had listen to but among the best.

As for other artists, I have yet to check them out so I am still far behind compared to you all! :D

Alessia_Tateno 18th March 2007 02:54 PM

I recommend you Namie Amuro, -Aisuru- ^^ better if you try her with lives more than mp3s =)

Peger 22nd March 2007 02:21 AM

Kuu has a great voice, so she's always good live; same goes for Yui. Ayu's a great entertainer generally, she always puts on a great show. I want to vote for Namie too, but she always seems so...bored,

Alessia_Tateno 22nd March 2007 04:20 PM

She isn't bored, she says always she always think about the live when she record a song because she always put the best efforts live, she is very shy, when she sings and dance she concentrates on that but when she finish she is so shy and can't speak.

milky_way 22nd March 2007 07:54 PM

Ayumi, Namie, and Utada for me. I also voted for Nana Kitade, just because I love her music lol
