No... I was very good at it, but it's not a particular hobby =)
In this thread, I've just posted some statistics without mentioning what my intention was and with almost no commentary or conclusion... It's seemingly pointless, but it's not. It reveals people's opinions on the following:
1) If people think that album sales (and sales in general) are a good indication of a singer's popularity / success
2) Which singer(s) a person supports and why.
3) Which of the 3 singers (if any) do people think will dominate in the future.
4) Lastly, it shows that people's impressions are not always correct. As I said, I myself was surprised that Ai has higher original album sales and the higher selling single than Kuu.

:D I like you lol
to answer your topics here...
One, sales are not the best indicator of popularity. I mean, of course the general idea would be that, if sales are good, you're more popular, which you know, thats true, but....i mean, only to a certain extent. There's just too many factors in sales though, like the economy and the market, and what everyone should be thinking about now, is that CDs are kinda going out of fashion. I think the only reason why they are still here is that its the only like, universal method of media we have, and even that is dwindling with the availability of downloads.
Two...If it were up to me, I'd support ayu and kuu, only because I don't listen to ai, just never got into her stuff. I do support Ayu, I havent bought anything of kuu's yet...I don't really have munny for all those best albums...I'll probab ly buy them one day though, even the really old ones if I can find them.
hmm...i really don't know who will dominate in the future. I really can't see Ai anywhere in the picture. I think Ayu will stay Ayu and be strong for some years. Kuu... I feel like Kuu is still an amateur. I mean she's been here for years, but it's like, she's only gotten popular now...I think that we can expect to see some different things in the future from her and she'll probably dabble in more styles, so she'll be strong for a while too. I don't think either one will become as popular as they were or are now, but they won't be gone either. Ai...will probably be in there somewhere...but i dont really know about her...
now i like your thread...
