masa posted too, it was a good post, go masa!

But seriously, I don't understand how people write these lame critcisms. They keep calling her like...bakemono. like some kinda hideous monster. I remember reading one that was like "odoru na! migurushii kara" which means like "zomg don't DANCE it's fugly." mi [watching] + kurushii [painful] = migurushii (I love Japanese haha). I need to punch some of these people out, seriously you guys...

What? they're horibble X_X People are really really bored.
They even don't like ayu so how come they even write a review about one of her singles?
I highly dislike people like that. BAKA.

They seem always sell more than 160k.
for example:
Kinki Kids first week sales = 190495
Arashi first week sales = 192196

So it's not like the sales decrease in general, but maybe they just got tired of Ayu? >_<
You can see the reviews of t2m on amazon japan, who gave it 1 over 5 stars, mainly complaining how she released the singles way too quickly (2 months spare).
I mean, come on! Ayaka did the same thing, so does Angela Aki, Arashi and Kinki Kids (released album and single in 2 months spare), I don't see people complaining much...

*sighs*
poor Ayu.

So how will you explain for example kumi's last single sales?
From a high popularity, look at her sales for the present single now.
And Angela as well.

BTW you actually can't compare popular boy bands to female solo artists.
Sales are low because people get tired of ayu is the same as my name is Bloody Mora. As I see it generally sales are decreasing a lot. Not just for ayu.

leo_nardez 19th September 2007 02:29 PM

Ya, i think sooo

people are considering to wait for album, which is almost the same price with hell lots more songs than single. besides, download link is everywhere to be found.

That's why.
And koda kumi sales this time really low, even her popularity is quite high now in Japan (i think so,,,)

dayumi 19th September 2007 02:31 PM

Just don't bother those people guys, as long as she produce great music I'm happy.

cloud♥honey 19th September 2007 02:37 PM

I'm sad. Where is the awesome sales that Oricon said to us? =/

Hope with the days the single get better with sales.

dayumi 19th September 2007 02:43 PM

Well I agree with you guys, that the sales are decreasing.
for me it's a good sales, and the sales is even higher that Angela Aki's album!

concerning her "dancing abilities" he's right, no matter how you put it.

Not really. The only JE group that I think has gone against the downward trend is Arashi and to an extent Kanjani 8. As for KinKi, they've had sales decreases but maybe not as much as what the general industry is experiencing.

Or maybe YUI's My Generation/Understand since that single had an index of ~14000 and ended up with ~79000 1st week.

No he is not, ayu danced really good, anyone can dance, just because she doesn't do that casually it doesn't mean she dance less good than Namie.
I really don't think so.
Her dance was flawless there was nothing wrong she'd done.
Her dancing abilities depends on how much she do that and what she want to do.
Not if she can or not, 'cause anyone can dance. It's not a matter of if she's got it or not.
10% is talent 90% is the perseverance.

I'm kinda disappointed. WTF is going with the Japan? CLAP & LOVE and Why were hits and didn't sell more than 30k.

The boybands are making the sales nonsense. I'm still very feel for Ayu. It's her best single since a long long long long time. Probably the stupid persons prefer buy generic singles like Ikenai Taiyou.

They prefer highly cute songs or catchy pop songs, or boy bands songs.

>.<
Even ken hirai's single didn't do good...
The Japanese are hard people musically.

first of all, relax. it's just my point of view.
that's why i didn't compare her with koda, sure it's decreasing, but i was just saying about not all artist has low sales (hence the example), so there are some ppl who actually still buy CDs.

and no i'm not a person who would jump on conclusion, ayu has low sales = she's sucks whatsoever!!1one!1
i'm still support her no matter what. been too long being her fan...

TITANIC 19th September 2007 02:58 PM

this single is better than glitter but why the 1st day sales worse than glitter??
who in #2 and #3 place??
is it possible ayu replaced by them??

ayumisrael 19th September 2007 03:01 PM

^Because the japanese don't really mind if the single is better or not unfortunately =\

dayumi 19th September 2007 03:01 PM

#2 one I don't know who is it but their sales are 11471
#3 is KinKi Kids and their sales are 2904

hopefully they don't replace ayu.

but just wait guys, it's only a day, a bad 1st day sales doesn't mean it's going to be bad right?

the thing is... she didn't exactly dance. at least not under my definition. to swirl around with your arms and shaking your ass off while walking an imaginary catwalk is not exactly dancing, you know. imho she's just been lazy with that PV.

and she'll NEVER reach namie's abilities. the only PV which comes to my mind where she actually danced is INSPIRE and the choreography was awesome, that's why I absolutely love it. well, I don't know her pre-MY STORY PVs, but I guess she's just staring/walking all the time, trying to be cute, as usual.

#2 is Tohoshinki/Dong Bang Shin Ki. 1st day sales are usually the largest out of the entire week. (i.e. glitter/fated's 1st day was ~37% of the entire 1st week sales)

CLAP & LOVE/Why has now sold ~42k. (The +DVD version helped boost the sales)

cloud♥honey 19th September 2007 03:12 PM

Oh, I didn't saw that. Well but it's really low sales to a Final Fantasy song, right?

TITANIC 19th September 2007 03:12 PM

oh DBSK at #2..
i think they won't replace ayu because ayu do pretty well in 1st day..
the 2nd place need 4k more to beat ayu..

hope together

and what's wrong with that? She is a SINGER after all not a dancer.
If I would want to see dancers perfromances I wouldn't look at a singer dances (not even Namie's because I like her because she's a singer I don't really mind her dancings anyway).
And ayu won't reach her abilites because she doesn't plan to dance and she wants to be more of a singer.
The dancing for that PV was an artistic thing, to show rage, it really fitted the song, I really don't think she wanted to say "look I'm cool, I'm dancing."
ayu was never the dancer type and I really hope she'll never will because she's perfect the way she is xD.
And no in most of her PVs she's not cute, she has a REAL story around them, that makes the PV interesting, without dancing all the time.
If you don't like those types of PVs then that's your option ^_^. I don't think ayu should be critisized because she doesn't dance, or just danced artistically in 3 of her PVs in her entire career to do something different.

I think that person was just being bully and don't even care with anything ayu ever did. I doubt he even like anything about her, that's why I was annoyed about what he wrote.

freedreamer 19th September 2007 03:14 PM

ahhhh...disappointing...hope she still gets #1...SHE MUST!
