Oh yeh, back to what i was supposed to say:

Yeh i really like Annette. I went to their concert when they were touring Australia, and i must say that in photo's and stuff anette doesn't look so good but in real life..WOW, she's amazing! The new album is pretty good (not as good as Once though...in fact none of them are as good as once >_<) but The Poet and the Pendulum is easily by far the best track on the album (and also the longest lol!)

I liked Tarja heaps, she was unique, and now that she's got her own album all i can say is that they worked much better together. Tuomas's probs sitting around drunk "mwaaaahaahaaa my band is doing better then yours HAHAHA"

what the hell am i going on about? I really need to watch my sugar intake...

I noticed he had it open in the Amaranth pv. When I saw his chest i just laughed. He's so cute ^-^

My brother went to their once concert a couple of years ago and his fondest memory was when marco started drinking some alcohol on stage saying " ze spirits are takin me ova" and then tarja drank some and she just coughed slightly.

I am so jealous of my brother. He has two Emppu guitar picks ;_;

If you guys like Marco's voice you should definitely listen to Tarot, which is kind of like Marco's band. He's been singing in Tarot way before he came to NW. I was at Tarot's gig last summer (it was a summerfestival and I saw Marco in person and he asked me where the foodstalls where, you bet I was like "OHMIGOSHHHH!!!" :dead2) and it was fantastic. Of course Tarot is a bit darker and harder metal than Nightwish -especially now with Anette the PopPrincess.

I kind of dislike Anette and I don't like her voice one bit, but it has nothing to with the fact that she doesn't sound like operatic-Tarja. I'm still going to Nightwish gig on summer because I've heard that Anette is great live etc. so if it's not good I can at least say I tried to like her. And I'm happy to pay 44€ to get to see all the boys from NW and hear Marco sing. If Tuomas would sing in the Beauty And The Beast again I would definitely pay more to see and hear that! :yes

the Video for the Islander is out!


the guy they used looks like the same guy photographed in the album booklet. I loved the video and the way it all tied in with the story of the song. I also noticed that the chorus at the end sounded different -- they had marco singing in a stronger voice than usual (if that makes any sense), but it sounded good.

I forgot to PM you about this, but thank you so much for the BBB single, spookshow! I've been off the Internet for quie some time now. XD

All Nightwish's albums are fantastic, I prefer the first few albums. But I love Dark Passion Play too, you just have to remember that Anette isn't an opera singer. :no:no
She's good at what she does though, but it sucks that I'll never get to hear the Angels Fall First songs live! :'(

Oh well. I LOVE Nightwish regardless. :P

I want to try it, but have limited bandwidth, can you suggest one song for me to test.

Well, a lot of people love Amaranth. Which is kind of pop-rocky.

Then Master Passion Greed is a song with just male vocals which is pretty heavy. So I think the best song to listen to would be Amaranth and Cadence of Her Last Breath see if you like them too. :)

I just listen to Amaranth, its a great song indeed. I like it.
