Wow, Ayu released 2 singles and Kumi released 4 and they are roughly only 100,000 sale apart!

Look at this way ayu ready: Kumiko didn't beat her by much like she did last year. Ayumi was more popular than Kumiko this year even though Kumiko had more singles and released more. This is a sign that Kumiko is somewhat passed her peak now while Ayumi is slowly gaining some of it back (despite her sales). Next year, Ayumi will release a lot more.....prolly more than Kumiko. SO she'll be selling A LOT more.

that's what we always hope for, ayu will TOTALLY beat kuu next year and even other band/artist and get on the top as the best seller of 2008!

about the anniversary, i think japan artist has some kind of tradition on celebrating their 10th anniversary, and that is celebrating with fans on a gigantic concert at Tokyo Dome.
And i really hope ayu also do that, that'll be AWESOME!!!

Aww, congrats Kuucchan! Obviously I'd wish Ayu topped the chart, but I'm happy for Kuu. I don't listen to Mr. Children much so I'm indifferent towards them. xD
It's amazing that Ayu's #3 and hasn't even released much this year. Even with sales in general being so low lately, it's great to see she's still at (near) the top.
