hmm i've never listened to MISIA before, but my dad loves her~ so can someone recommend an album i can get *cough download* for my dad and for me to listen to?

I think it is lack of promotion. She gets her singles to be theme songs and such... but as far as I know she never really goes on any of the big tv shows to promote her singles/albums. Her album sales are slowly going down, but her concerts are still doing amazing (and thats where the big money is anyways).

Royal Chocolate Flush is an amazing song, you should check out her EiGHth WORlD and ASCENSION albums... they are both so amazing. Her older stuff is, IMO, very good... but her newer stuff just has something about it that makes it better. I don't know exactly what it is lol

Yes, I second the vote for Eighth World!

If you like very danceable R&B tracks then I definitely recommend EIGHTH WORLD. If you like ballads and pop songs that are really vocally expressive, then I recommend SINGER FOR SINGER (my favorite MISIA album). If you want a good mix of both, then I say go with ASCENSION. All three albums are fantastic and there isn't much wrong you can do in listening to any of MISIA's albums (unless it's the extremely dull MARS & ROSES).

from what i know she RARELY (VERY RARE) appear on tv...i dunno why...
but she like live in her own world

Yeah, MISIA never performs live on television. That's why her concerts are so revered, sine it's the only way to see that amazing voice live.

MARS & ROSES is a very good album, its it her most solid? no. But its still a good album.

I have her Tour DVD and she sings ALMOST 100% CD Quality...u can even think she lipsync

and for her never perform in TV
that's to keep her mysterious image since she debuted

i enjoy her tour~ it was sooo fabulous and the stage is never let us down~
