It's very pretty, but I think I'll like it better when I drive with it. Most of Ayu's traditonal-sounding songs always sound better to me when I'm driving in the car...especially when it's raining. And today it JUST so happens to be raining.
I can say though, that listening to it now...It's a very DIFFERENT sound compared to what Ayu normally sings. It has a simularity to [WILL]...but it's so much more ASIAN than that. And I like that a lot. I'm just having trouble with the flow of her voice and the lyrics...It's awkward a times, like it doesn't fit here---and it should go here, but it doesn't. It's kind of confusing but that's the vibe that I get from it now. But I'm still going to be open-minded about the song. I've got to head out in the storm so after I listen to it in the car, I let you know how it sounded. |

GREEN is so beautiful.
I first thought the instruments were just "cool" But they are actually ... WOWWWW. I woke up at 5:30 and im just awake listening to the song. The melody is so calm and mesmerizing Arrangement. awesome. It's definitely my favorite song up to date now. |
So far I can say I like the beginning and the ending a lot!! I am not sure if I am going to listen to this song a lot in the future but it's better then her other 2008 ballad life.

The song is awesome! from beginning to end. I'm very happy with it...very happy with the quality of the songs released this year...MW, life (I like it!), and GREEN! Can't wait to hear Days~

GREEN Intro sounds like "I am into jungle and going to hunt" more than Chinese style.

I just had a big argument with my boss like one hour ago and I was super pissed then I listened to GREEN and even with its poor quality audio rip it instantly put my mind into a state of tranquility.

Well I'm quite impressed with this song, the etnic feeling made me first think to vogue, but I must admit that this is a good song... And I actually saw Ayu walking in the streets of Shanghai^^

That's all I could really say. The arrangment is absolutely fantastic, and that's just from listening to crap quality file. I was hooked into the song right from the beginning. I was kinda worried that the verses and the chorus wouldn't blend well together after hearing the previews, but it's great! I'm so happy with this song right now. The single could just be this song, forget Days! =P (j/k)! 2008 has been a good year for Ayu songs. :yes |
