I'm glad they do have some new songs. But even if all the songs on the album were already performed before in their concerts, their fans would still buy the album, no doubt about that. ^^

Do you know how many copies their BEST of album sold in total?

The album must have been highly anticipated by fans, as they've waited so long for them to finally debut, and release their first album.

All that anticipation must have led to high sales of the album, I'm sure.

wikipedia put Best of KAT-TUN's sales as 743,359 :thud

it's sad that KAT-TUN III -QUEEN OF PIRATES- was only 282,402 as I think that's the album of 2008

WHAT?! I was expecting sales to be at least 1.5 million or more, considering the hype and everything building up as it was released. I'm sure that sales figure is outdated, and it is a lot higher now.

well Johnny's bands are notorious for being sucky when comes to album sales & that's a different issue for their singles

for KT to clear 750K+ during a time when sales are declining , it's quite good I guess

it's different if they released it in the 90's/late 90's where physical CD sales are still high at that time

including the only one the guys put out when they were in Hey ! Say ! 7 , it's 5

4 released so far was under the name HSJ

see this's why I said it's extremely long overdue :(

I don't like it when artists/groups keep releasing single after single, without an album.

It makes you keep on wondering: "when are they going to release an album?" Lol.

er the thing's for Johnny's case , the most I have seen in an album singles wise was 3 at max

that 'unspoken rule' was broken last year after NEWS put 4 singles in their colour album

I never knew 3 was the max or the norm for JE artists.

I think 4 is better than 3, definitely.

it's an unspoken rule but yeah before NEWS broke down that barrier , I tend to see 1-3 singles that's being put in a Johnny's album

never 4 before NEWS came in

hmm I wonder whether will HSJ re-record Hey ! Say ! or not

KAT-TUN only had 1 single on their debut album. T_T

lol yeah I was eh . The same thing happened for ARASHI's 5th album One which you guess it , there's only 1 single on the album

Best of KAT-TUN was released on the same day as Real Face & Real Face Flim if you don't know & all propel to #1 , making them the 2nd artiste to do so after ayumi

anyway ... is there any HSJ single/s you have heard of at this point in time ?

Not really, lol. Me and you have been posting so much in this thread, and I haven't even heard any of their singles yet, lol.

start with Your Seed , that was the song which got me started on my HSJ music journey followed by Mayanoka no Shadow Boy

the lyrics for Mayanoka no Shadow Boy is a bit eh imo considering the lyrical content & also how young some of the members are in the band

Btw, what I like about this sub-forum is that people reply to posts so quickly!! I've been on other forums where I have posted, and I don't get a reply for a day, or longer.

I think it's cool how people reply so quickly, and you can keep posting without waiting a long time for a reply.
