I love both Jolin and Ayu and this really doesn't bother me.

A few singers were doing the "circus" theme last year..now people are doing bright colors.

Oh friggin' well. That's just the way it goes.

Oh, and i don't think Jolin would complain about Ayu "copying" her, since it seems as if Jolin's a fan of Ayu.

Jolin attended one of Ayu's Asia concerts last year. I think it's obvious to assume that Jolin admires Ayu.

and also none of the artists say anything about copying, it's just all the protective fans...geez, so what if another artist get inspiration from ayu? that's a good thing for ayu to be able to inspire other people

Slightly off-topic: I don't know if it's just me, but do Jolin's eyes look a bit too asymmetrical on her album cover? I'm sure her head's slightly tilted, but it doesn't look tilted enough to produce that degree of asymmetry. It seems like her nose is somewhat asymmetrical too, although I can't quite pinpoint how.

I havent posted here in so long! im back! lol but anyways i think once again ayu is probs like " Who the hell is that Chinese *****!" lmao she has no clue who she is! But i think if anyone were to copy it would be Jolin ( i love her though) but the Chinese industry has had a reputation... like that weird Chinese singer who copied the " My Story" cover!

Even if Ayu IS copying Jolin this time, I recall seeing well over 20 shots, PV's, lives, and costumes where Jolin copies Ayu

This entirely thing's been blown up by fans. I mean, sure, Jolin could have "copied" Ayu a few times. But don't we fans try to "copy" Ayu's style too? (Jolin is a fan too).
Say, at PCDL. There was one (or a few) girls wearing that outfit from Days PV.
And then there's this Ayu make-up tutorial in the forum.
And the list could go on and on.
But my point is: why the big fuss? Say Jolin really did copy Ayu. But Ayu's still the original right? And we love her! ^^

I think it's clear that Jolin is a big fan. But I wouldn't peg it more than a girl seeing her favorite artist in a magazine and thus imitating that style. What she's doing is so high school fangirl, but that's all. I'm not particularly bothered by it really. Although the photos are pretty hilarious as to how obvious it is.

ia. jolin has copied ayu in the past, that's hard to deny, but it seems like a lot of people just refuse to move on and are trying to compare everything she does to ayu. most of the time there are very few similarities and it just makes the fans who are egging it on look delusional and childish.
