That's awesome, but seriously sucks that it's London only. There's more to the UK than ENGLAND!

amorphose 31st October 2009 12:06 AM

^^I'm pretty sure they said more UK dates may be added. I wouldn't be surprised if not only did she add another UK date or two, but some non-UK European dates. She has just as many fans in Europe as she days in the US and UK, I think.

Maemi 31st October 2009 12:12 AM

Have a great time, guys^^ I wonder if she'll perform japanese songs? That would be weird, but I think it would be even more amazing with her japanese songs :) The others will have to be patient and wait ;)

I highly doubt that she adds non-UK dates. And if she does, it'll probably be Paris for sure and maybe Barcelona or something? That's where Japanese artists usually tour when in Europe (OLIVIA and Kanon Wakeshima performed on Paris and Miyavi in Barcelona). If she goes to Barcelona I will get the money from under the rocks to see her tho (even when I'm at the opposite corner of the country :laugh xD)

And she better sings her Japanese stuff. Or at least Exodus. She can keep This is The One to herself, except maybe a couple of songs xD But for me, she can sit there and cough, as long as I'm seeing her live :D

ayumisrael 31st October 2009 02:29 AM

That's really cool!
I'm looking forward to know what she will be singing there. ^^

CoriKaru 31st October 2009 09:00 AM

For some reason, I just don't see her performing any of her Japanese material on this tour. Would seem strange being that this is promotion for "This Is The One", although I'd prefer it.

She won't come anywhere in my area so I'm not all that excited.

omably 31st October 2009 09:47 AM

^Believe CoriKaru! BELIEVE!

I'm trying to believe, and I'm in a completely different hemisphere! :P

... :scry

Evolution7/4 31st October 2009 09:55 AM

In interviews in the past Utada said she would 100% perform her japanese songs during a us tour.

~ayu-cake~ 31st October 2009 11:26 AM

I am so there
o___o

hikaricore 31st October 2009 05:44 PM

OKay... so where is everyone finding the list of dates and locales??
I want a Chicago date!!

hpg23 31st October 2009 09:43 PM

^So far the only date announced is the London one, (February 12th 2010, O2 arena, tickets go on sale on November 13th 2009)

About the U.S. dates, we only know that there will be 10, but not exact dates have been announced.

________

I hope the London tickets don't sell out too quickly... but anyway I hope there's reselling at least x_________x If I miss the tickets I will literally die.

What I hope /think / would be pleased and it would be coherent she sang:

-Come Back To Me
-Simple And Clean
-Sanctuary
-Devil Inside
-Easy Breezy
-Kremlim Dusk
-You Make Me Want to be A Man
-Automatic
-Flavor of Life
-This One (Crying Like a Child)
-Me Muero/Poppin' / another song from TITO
-COLORS
-Be My Last
-Travelling
-SAKURA Drops
-First Love
-Keep Tryin'
-This Is Love
-Prisoner of Love

...and if she does Kettobase!, TOKYO Nights or Uso Mitaina I Love You, I will literally have an orgasm there. Tho I higly doubt she performs those xD

Polyrhythm 31st October 2009 09:50 PM

I hope they announce the dates soon so we know its not just some bad joke ><

AyUta 31st October 2009 11:45 PM

Utada US/UK Tour in 2010 - London 02.12.2010
Rumors have been circulating of a possible tour in January, and we have gotten word that Utada will in fact be touring in early 2010, though no dates or venues have yet to be set in stone. It appears that, in addition to DJ Mike Rizzo (confirmed by a member at UtadaNet), Utada will have a band backing her on this tour, opening up the possibility of more than a simple club tour. An official confirmation from Island Def Jam should not be far behind.

UPDATE: According to MuuMuse, Utada will start her tour in Hawaii in mid-January, with a total of 10 US dates, followed by at least one date in the UK, ending February 12th. The Stateside events will be handled by Live Nation.

UPDATE 2: Utada’s UK concert will take place at O2 Academy Islington on February 12th.

UPDATE 3: Tickets for Utada’s London show go on sale November 13th at 9AM. Ticket prices start from £20.

Crystal_Ageha 1st November 2009 12:32 AM

So, it's only going to be a month long tour? I hope we get some cities or dates for the US soon. I REALLY have to plan ahead for this to work at all...

And ugh, I hope, if she sings her Japanese songs, she'll focus more on the first half of her career. I honestly have no interest in hearing live anything other than COLORS or Prisoner of Love from ULTRA BLUE or HEART STATION. :shrug

RyRyMini 1st November 2009 01:22 AM

If she comes near me, I think I'll go!

Only I don't love her English releases @_@

Crystal_Ageha 1st November 2009 02:05 AM

So, it seems like half of us are going/want to go, not because we like what she'll be singing, but just to see Hikki, hah. She's awesome, to make us want to pay up good money just to watch her sing a bunch of songs we don't like. :laugh

omably 1st November 2009 08:12 AM

^I'd go even if she was there singing songs by The Wiggles or The Teletubbies... Wait, do the teletubbies even speak english..?

amorphose 1st November 2009 01:47 PM

Gosh! XD Am I the only person that likes her English music? hahaha

hpg23 1st November 2009 03:47 PM

^amorphose: You have the best set ever. HERO has grown on me finally thanks to you xD

She can sit there in her pajamas with her bear, start coughing for a minute, stand and go out of stage, and I will die happy.

For those familiar with the O2, can you buy the tickets over the internet? Because I want to buy them right when they go on sale to get first row seats *-*
