Thanks! it was a good read!

Misa-chan,
ダイコン is radish ^^;
It was a good imagination to think ダイ・コン = ダイ・コンピューター = dive(?) computer ^^;

This radish grew up from the crack of asphalt; TV shows treated it as a hero and people made a fuss of it, but people lost interest in it quickly.
I guess Ayu saw the same things in people who made fuss of ayu whenever ayu did or didn't something ...

Well, ... mmm ... there are several places that I want to convey the subtle nuance of the original text. But it would take too long time for me to do so :dead2 and I know my english is strange. :dead2

Here is one example of such places:
> ... ... ... Probably that is why I wish for strength, and actually I think I am stronger than what I was in the past.
> --- Thinking that way, I guess what you have most firmly in your mind would emerge in your songs naturally, wouldn't it?
> It would. That's why songs are real. Though, I don't say all situations written in my songs are non-fiction. (I sometimes write fictional situations) Just because life would be easier to understand if we compare life to love and romance.
> --- The songs would be easier to receive for listeners, too. Anyway, every song of yours holds a message. ... ... ...

Another suggestion is that a better word for 覚悟 is determination rather than realization.

... actually I'm not very confident if I could write well but I hope this helps you a little.
ok. bye for now. :)

Will be doing Popteen's 2007 September issue next. Anyone has any other requests?
There's this hour long interview on Yahoo during NEXT LEVEL's era that might be fun to translate in pieces... though that is more listening and translating as opposed to just translating a book... she talks about the album a lot and also her staff. Armageddon gets to talk!

Haha. Thanks again Misa-chan for everything, again. oji-i-san, your English is just fine!

Lol I can try, but no promises, since listening is probably one of my worst skills in Japanese. :innocent I won't be able to do a word for word translation though, but I'll try my best. :D

truehappiness 4th March 2010 06:33 AM

Ah, okay. I think Deli will thank you a lot, as she really wanted to see a translation for this, haha.

It's.. practice?! Haha. You should totally get extra credit for all of this translation work, ohohoh.

I wonder if oji-i-san could help with anything you have problems with?

Yeah, it's practice. But it's hard, because everyone speaks in a different way, and at different speeds, so unless you're really good at Japanese, it can be pretty hard to keep up with them sometimes.

ayu's wonderful though, she speaks at a really comfortable speed, and her pronunciation's nice, so she's really easy to follow. :luv2 it's that guy's speech that I can't catch sometimes lol! :D

I didn't read it through but I think I'm dead anyway. I have wanted to read more Ayu interviews lately. Especially about my favourite album. <3

oji-i-san 4th March 2010 04:44 PM

Sure. I can help in taking a transcription.
I guess Misa-chan can do most of things and, you know, most of us will not care much about what the guy is saying. haha

Wow... B&D has sorrow?? So many things I didn't know...

Thanks!

I love reading these interviews- its interesting to see her messages and thoughts from them, and compare them to now. Usually, though, they are almost the same, right?
Thank you for taking the time to translate!
