I don't think it'll be a ballad. AAA usually don't release ballads as singles, they are more succesful with faster tracks. If it's a good ballad like FIELD or one more tomorrow I'm all for it, but I have my doubts.

I would live a song that starts out slow, but ends TP being an up beat track... Like you and me.

You don't have to feel bad about it. You don't have to love everything they do, for me it's hit or miss with AAA too. These last two years the singles weren't the best. I still love their new album because it has a few super amazing tracks. And I like AAAs lyrics which can be really sad. Or very uplifting. Anyway I'm curious about Niji, but I think it will be a good song since good day sounds bleh. :) And it's been a while since they had a japanese titled song.

AAA performed Niji at Yokohama Arena, where they filmed the PV for the song at the same time. Apparently a famous person wrote that song for AAA! I wonder who that was.....:D

AAA are not going to Taiwan as planned. I think it's because of the conflict between China and Japan over the Senkaku Islands. Taiwan is involved as well, and probably avex decided it wouldn't be safe for them to go. This just made me realize that having asian tours will be much harder for japanese artists. I feel sorry for the taiwanese fans.

Yes, things certainly changed in that timeframe. I also think it's sad for the fans of japanese culture and japanese music. Not every chinese person hates the japanese. And in this case it wasn't even China but Taiwan. AAA's concert in Taiwan was sold out! Fans were excited and really happy that they would come to their country. :( But avex has to protect AAA and their wellbeing. It is sad but understandable. Really those who suffer are the fans. Quite unbelievable that Ayu held two Asia Tours 2007&2008. This is in the past. In the near future I doubt that any label would willingly sent their japanese artists on tours there.

Famous unit GReeeeN wrote and produced Niji. Here is the full PV on youku. I'm torn. I kind of like it, but I don't love it. But the PV is lovely and the song highlights the boys voices! Nissy and Naoya really shine in the song. Hidaka is not featured that much, but there is a lot of Shuta and Shinjiro, too! Misako and Chiaki are barely there, maybe GReeeeN prefers to write for male voices.

Niji is a song that takes a while to get into. Each time I listen to it I like it better. It is different from the usual AAA song. I hope it'll be succesful. Curious to who is releasing that week? If the competition isn't to hard maybe they have a chance for another Number 1.

They performed on MS before, but they are not invited often. Last time I think was when PARADISE was released.....so it's been 2 years already. *_*

Even when they are on, they barely talk. I remember when they did Aitai Riyuu they were even Number 1 that week, but Nishi only said 2 sentences about TK at the beginning.

I think the problem is that AAA are too much of a boygroup, to be not seen as direct competition to Johnnys groups, and Johnny has the power at MS.

They are just simply not as famous as others, who can perform 4 full songs on a TV show. As sad as it may be. While I think that in the last few years or so they steadily improved and gained new fans. Their sales are pretty good, too, if you consider the way sales generally nosedived in the last years.

I'd rather watch their concert DVD's than short tv lives anyway. Even on a-nation they perform just short versions of most of their set. I prefer their concerts, full versions and fun!

They did 777 - We can sing a song in absolutely horrible outfits at Kouhaku. The vocals were really good though. I think they're getting used to the Kouhaku performances. They looked very relaxed and happy.

for the boys, their costumes are all in red flowery rose kind of patterns... such patterns look great or lovely for girls but definitely not for boys.. =S i mean look at the girls, they do look lovely... but the boys.. still look kinda weird...

While I agree that Still Love You is the better track and I think your disappointment is justified, it is understandable to me why they did 777 - We can sing a song. It is the title track of their 2012 album, the celebration song of them as a group with 7 members, in their seventh year. And for non-fans - the usual j-pop listener - it is a much more fun song to wave their light sticks to. It's a happy-go-lucky song, while Still Love You is more sad and dramatic, maybe not exactly the type of song you can have fun and forget your troubles with.
