I wish she would have released those two new songs that were used for that kids show as a single. We have gotten so much new music from her this year- but I can't help but want more haha

go to CM, and there're 3 CMs with hitomi's new song which is still unknown. It sounds like Perfume-ish, pretty auto-tuned and electronic. It sounds cute, but it doesnt sound like hitomi at all

I think that new version of Smile World is that acoustic sounding version they played at the Hello Kitty display last year. I'm not too happy about the fact that Song for you is going to be on the mini album considering it was just released on Spirit a few months ago, but I guess I shouldn't complain since they did a similar thing with ICONIQ's Light Ahead album.

I wanted to mention that I updated today and I have 2/3 of the Spirit album translated on my lyrics blog in case anyone is interested.

I'm glad to do it :yes. I just noticed that most of the songs have some kind of reference to healing or medical so I guess thats why she's wearing that nurses uniform on the front cover.

I kinda wish we could get a TV performance or something for this new album. It's been soooo long since hitomi has done a TV live, not counting a-nation of course.

So I stumbled across some fan reviews of Spirit and one thing they had in common was that they said they preferred more old school sounding hitomi rather than the current dance pop style she's been doing. What do you guys think, I think I prefer her old rocky sound but I like the pop style.

I think sh does electro pop pretty well. Some of the tracks on Spirit are pretty good, surprisingly so, I was shocked after her few attempts weren't as good for me

I perfer her rock soud. She does a great job- wheather its indy rock, electro rock, or pop rock.

But if you think about it- hitomi started out doing pop/dance music so in a way, so this new pop/dance sound really isnt anything new.

I wonder where is her part in a-nation :rolleyes

turns out, it is just the venus she already released, they stuck it on the album since it has a new tie-up, it's the theme for TV Tokyo's "ヴィーナスの秘密" (secret of venus) and now every song on the mini has a tie up.

Odds are she's set for life (assuming she has her finances taken care of, and I'm sure she has) after her old huge successes and just works because she enjoys it now. Sad about the divorce though, but not surprising. hopefully it was amicable.
