The illegal downloading is destroying the music industry in general.

^too true, too true. But I think itunes (in america, i dont know about other countries) kind of has the monopoly on the digital downloads.
But I guess the cd company's get a pretty good cut from those download or they wouldnt do it. Its the stores that sell the cd's that get sucker punched..

As for my sig. the "me" is suppose to be there. its an accent thingie. its almost like a french creole thing i got going on.

^ Canada is pretty much the same with itunes, but i know in Japan i tunes is like totally not a significant place where music is downloaded.

As the years go by, people buy less and less physical cds and more and more digital itunes cds. Eventually everything will be like together when and only be released in 1 intangible, oh crap, i accidentally deleted the song off my computer, damn, i got a virus and forgot to back up my computer so now everything has been wiped clean, format. yay

^ you know, i as thinking the same thing, and guess what i noticed. Amazon is starting a program for stuff like that.
You can buy "space" and upload all your stuff there and never lose it again.

I thought it was a cool idea, and it might catch on...

Plus, although it might be true that physical singles die off (they already have in most of the world) I don't think physical albums will ever completely die.

Sadly, as much as the digital sales are popular in Japan, they don't make up for the lack of physical sales in Ayu's case, at least not as much, especially now days. The thing that's killing the sales in general is the illegal downloading.
