Nah, Ayu's girls are never on display the way Kuu's are. Even if they have an outfit that is "similar" they have different senses of style, different inspirations, etc. so in the end it means nothing. More so when people start getting into those ridiculous "so and so copied so and so" battles.

I just re-watched my 4 hot wave DVD. It had really good PVs. JUICY was hot, With Your Smile was fun entertaining, I'll Be There For You had absolutely beautiful scenery (very under-rated PV and song) and Ningyo Hime was so edgy and I love all her looks. It made me re-think if 4 TIMES will really take the top spot for me. Not to mention 4 hot wave's booklet had really cute pictures and a unique cover. Either way, I think her "4" singles will be my two favorite, as I think they are her strongest.

Totally agree with the bold parts :yes My love for 4 hot wave is even bigger cuz it was my first Jpop CD ever <3 I still remember how shocked I was when I saw that double case, the thick booklet [since it'sa a single, it's very thick] and watching those PVs in HQ in my television with my sound system on omg such good times :tipsy

Went off Kuu quite a while ago. It wasn't her, it was me :P I just stopped listening to her style of music and following her releases along with the others I follow was getting too much! I still listen to a few of her older songs that I have on my iPod, mostly before Best ~ SS because she was releasing albums and singles like a trooper and I got very behind! But I saw the youtube spot on a blog and I am liking the sound of in the air and koso koso. Consider me possibly back Kuuuu!

I would love seeing her selling 100k with a single again, especially with her 50th now.
But I'm sceptical, cause the physical sales aren't anymore like they used to be and Kuu never was a big single seller. Although Lollipop last year was a big hit,Gossip Candy couldn't reach 100k as well. She was better digital the last two years.
