Since the southern hemisphere is the opposite from Japan's seasons,all these seasonal releases don't affect me much. It's 2 degrees right now in Perth and I'm not really in the mood for light-hearted summer tunes from Kuu... :headache

It was probably that car stereo. Here I am thinking I can play Dejavu in the car when the cd will be scratched. I wanted to melt some chocolate REALLY loudly XD

I don't play CDs anymore nowadays , I just rip the CD or listen to it once if i was super lala excited like JAPONESQUE , i watch the booklet , scan it if i couldn't' get it anywhere , then keep it with the seal , my JAPONESQUEs are so brand new :D

Kuu's Engrish is so funny, though. Whenever I listen to 'Lay Down', I don't care what anyone says, I always hear 'and love it down a rock'. :laugh I always heard 'rape you' not 'break you' as well.

Lollipop was so funny when it was released, everyone was certain she was saying 'I touch your booty booty', and then the lyrics came out and we were like....No way, sorry but that is what she saying hahaha.

And yay for new single! I'm still looking forward to the full of 'Whatcha Waitin' On?' as I love the preview. :D

I know I shouldn't complain since it is illegal downloading but, it's so impossible to find any old videos or songs from artists now since Mediafire and all the file sharing sites are deleting everything that is uploaded. D:

Less than a month to go until her baby is born, yeah? Although, her baby will be born before Beach Mix comes out, so does that mean little promotion, or that her baby will sell her album?

Maybe they have planned the baby's birth date with the recochoku release date for Whatchu Waitin On which in turn will help Beach Mix do ok which in turn will fuel hype for the comeback single in October.

Probably that is what's going to happen... Since she can't promote at all, just the news about the baby will be enough for some hype.

All I know is that she needs to hold on 19 days.. That will be my bday.. :)!

If we're being honest here tho I'm personally very optimistic when it comes to both of them. At the end of the year Kuu will have her big comeback single + Ayu will have a hit with the TOH2 theme song and release either a new album or single which will do well. I think good things are ahead for fans of both artists. Or at least I hope. lol

JAPONESQUE did very well considering she never performed or had any visual promo! I bet it would have sold just as much as Dejavu if she had done some performances and could do more promo, like TV appearances. :)

I think the reason Party Queen only came at #2 is maybe because she chose a controversial concept and a genre (like electro and jazz) that isn't as popular in Japan at the moment? Party Queen is different from what she has done in the past, probably her most controversial album cover. But I love that Ayu will create music based on her feelings and will always do something bold, not just what sells. :)

I was really pleased with both (and they do deserve better), so I am really looking forward to what they'll bring out next. :D
