Since people keep complaining that LOVE and again is a single... I see no arguments if the songs were added into the album >.<
I'm having hard time digesting all the new songs...

Pre-ordered the CD + blu-ray! Really hope that none of the songs from Love or Again are included as this campaign was promoted as having a new release every month.

I preordered the CD only and CD+BR+Goods from CDJ. Ordered with my boyfriends card and it got declined because of the ****ing bank. I hate that ****. He talked to the bank and CDJ said they'll automatically try it again. Better ****ing work because the BR+goods is now out of print. I guess if worse comes to worst, I'll just use my card. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift from him though lol

Days is awesome.

Moon is a better and more skillful composition than anything Ayumi has ever composed though.
I don't think I've ever heard use of a 17/4 time signature combined with off-beat vocals more excellent than Moon, hell, I don't think I've ever heard that done well before Moon at all.

Days, when compared directly to Moon, is a piece of generic, predictable, unimaginative crap that should be banished from existence.

I preordered it. I decided to buy the CD & the CD+DVD+GOODS versions. If the cover for the CD+DVD version is not the same that the limited press, I'll buy it later.

Days is quite simple but it is perfect in it's simplicity. It seems as if that song was born to sound exactly that way. With that exact arrangement. Everything just works for that song. The flow is absolutely perfect - there is a clear distinction between chorus and verse and it feels "complete" - that is why Days is so amazing!

I don't care if Bjork is being innovative in that song - it all just sound like wailing and does not settle well, regardless of the mathematics behind the music theory and composition. Notice everyone who commented after I made a joke about Bjork's music being creative but not very enjoyable to listen to, agreed with me. You were the first person to come in and say "this is why we laugh at your music tastes sometimes", lol.

idk how Days is generic. If there's something like Days on the new album, I'll love it. I played it on repeat literally over and over and over when it first came out.

^ i kind of understand the generic argument, but songs don't need to be epic all the time. the music goes well with the lyrics (and video, save for the cheesy dance practice parts/random woman's hand with the ring). Its supposed to be subtle and bittersweet.

Pre-ordered CD+DVD+GOODS and CD only! :) Might pre-order CD+Blu-ray as well if the cover is different than the limited version.


For me, I rather have a "generic" and "not unique" great song than an "unique" song if this last one isn't any good for my ears... Just because a song is unique it doesn't make it amazing, it only depends on each person's taste, and trying to discuss what's better and what's worst based on personal taste will be an endless discussion...

Days is awesome. Beautiful winter ballad, with a cute videoclip. Don't know what so 'not unique' about it. The only reason I could give is that it has a theme Ayu has done multiple times before, but I think she certainly gives her own twists to her winterballads. Would love to know what you would change about it to be more 'outstanding' of the J-Pop Winterballadworld. Especially from you, isthisLOL?

Why don't we all have an argument over the individual likes we each have and how everyone who doesn't like what you like for the reasons you like it suck and thus deserve to be belittled, when in reality, if everyone liked all the same crap everyone else did all of the time, this world would be pretty dull, but gee, then I guess we'd all get along because we wouldn't be throwing petty insults around over individual tastes in music. :rolleyes

If they do decide to include LOVE/again then I imagine they would skip over tracks without PVs. Although if they're encouraging fans to buy a copy of each of the five releases then hopefully they'll be wise enough to not include anything they've already released.

Personally my thought are that the reason Love and again were mini albums is so there was no reason or expectations of putting them on the album.

I swear if they were singles and they were left off the album, people would be all "maaaaah but I want them all to be on one release maahhh"

I like having singles first because I'm not overwhelmed with the amount of new songs.
Better to have a single with a song that I like than having an album full of songs that I'll hate.

It makes sense to me. That's just my opinion.

I agree with this to some extent. I usually base whether or not I'll buy an album on how much I liked the singles. But this album has been timed in a way that including already pre-released tracks is just going to feel like a rip off. There are few artists I'll pre-order an album by without waiting to see what the content is like first, but Ayu is an artist who consistently impresses me and she hasn't failed once in doing so since before RnRC. I imagine it's only because she has such a loyal following that they can even consider releasing an album without singles.

I'm tempted to get the CD+Bluray this time instead of my usual CD only. I will impatiently wait for more details first. Since its being released so close to 2/14, I wonder if it will have a Valentines Day theme. But then it's only my speculation...

I also hope mini's are not included, but still I'm excited even if they are only 5-6 new songs :) The more I'm sad for pv's cause that would mean only 2 new pv's which one will propably will be for a boring ballad, so yeah.

but well mini's don't have any making of's from pv's we have... so it's possible they will include at least You&Me trilogy ;/

I haven't got again yet, but I was a bit surprised when I saw Original mix next to main three tracks on the back cover of LOVE. And instrumentals on mini-album? I'm just speculating here, but it's the first time I see a mini album like that.

Surreal also had tons of tv performances when it came out, but that doesn't mean that everyone knows and remembers it.

For the general public, Ayu=Boys and Girls, Seasons, Evolution, and M. Dearest and Voyage might fit in there as well.

I'm glad that I pre-ordered when I did as well. Even though I was really sleepy, I made myself stay up until some time after 2AM US EST to wait for the links for the album to be available on YesAsia (I can't even count how many times I kept refreshing the page on YA after the links became available on CDJ, lol). I contemplated going to sleep and then ordering it later that morning when I woke up, but then I remembered how quickly her limited editions sold out. So as soon as I saw they were up, I ordered the CD+Bluray+GOODS edition as fast as I could, lol.

Looking forward to this :)

I'm not fond of PVs or remix albums, so I have no reason to be disappointed

It'd probably be more likely to be mostly Komuro/Yuta than Timmy. He really didn't compose -that- many songs on Party Queen. And of Ayu's recent output, Tetsuya had an entire album, You & Me, and two tracks on again.

Timmy, TK... i was really happy with everything off of LOVE and again, (but melody), so bring all those guys back please!

People shouldn't blame Timmy too much for those two offensive tracks on Party Queen. Ayu probably told him to make songs like that as she had a boner for musical theatre and all that kinda stuff after seeing some shows in the West End.

I'm not hoping for covers till mid/late january, but they could at least give us tracklist somewhere soon...

and for teh Timmah, I like Eyes Smoke Magic, (the next LOVE is ok for me, nothing special, but nothing bad) maybe because there were two "musical" songs people felt beaten by "new sound". I think one "experimental" track per album is enough. Sexy little thing did it very well on RnRC, is still my fav from this album.

I think people dislike album when it gets too cohesive (NEXT LEVEL flame) and that's why I don't listen to Love songs (beside Love song) very often because I feel beaten by its aura. I prefer cold cohesive aura from RAINBOW, than a "Love themed" warm sounds. MY STORY got that aura too, but I can't be beaten by it, it was my first Ayu album downloaded in full when it leaked.(besides Memorial address which I had singles and then just downloaded the rest xD) And it got rock tracks, which Love songs mostly don't have,

I hope the album REAKS of DAI + some good TK.

I do want Timmy again, I dont like any of his tracks so far. I'd say they are always... interesting :)
