i absolutelly love the idea that they used something fanmade but like really? there's a dozzen of people out there making better stuff, and they just happen to take this one... why didn't they do like Namie did with her 20th anni logo - made a contest, if they were willing to incorporate something from fans into the logo....This is like not cool....

xLuna&1LOVE 18th March 2013 06:40 PM

I like the logo...

Gustavopc 18th March 2013 06:47 PM

I love how she changed the heart from her 10th anniv for a shield. For me it's a symbolism for how strong she got sine 2008, much more mature. Love love love it.

Andrenekoi 18th March 2013 06:57 PM

If they used a idea of mine I would prefer all the "glory" coming at me as money. Just saying. :P

The original logo was pretty ugly, but some ideas on it were pretty good if properly fixed... And they did it well enough IMO.

macmaayu 18th March 2013 07:00 PM

the fan's logo is much better...
add some colors TA!!!

Exactly.

If Ayu chose this as her logo, she probably thought it represented her and her career well.

pommy48 18th March 2013 07:56 PM

If they were going to do something like this, they should have done what Namie's team did and made it open to all the fans to submit.

I doubt they planned to use a fan-made logo. Perhaps it caught Ayu's eye or one of her team noticed it and showed her, and it just kind of happened. I agree a competition would of been more 'fair' and whatever, but in the end if it's what Ayu feels best represents her tour, then it's the right decision.

Personally not a huge fan of it, but it's not her worst logo. :)

mmm i think it's not about the fairness, at least in my eyes..it's just not a professional way of aproaching this....
well it's Ayu, i rarelly aproove of her "creative" team options...but oh well... it's one of the worst logos from her that I've seen, in the top 5 for sure, but it's just a logo i guess...*shrugs*
It might not look like it's the right decision from the point of view of some of us (like me) but it's HER decision, i guess she likes it. And honestly i never understood j-pop/j-music graphic departament...i just don't get it whatsoever lol

Everyone has different tastes. Just read the comments here; some hate it, some love it, whatever. I agree that the logo probably could of been better, but perhaps she thinks it represents her current tour the best and it isn't all about how professional the design is all the time.

ExodusUK 18th March 2013 09:50 PM

Ohh the logo is out, don't care though, it's just a logo.

mi|kshake 18th March 2013 11:23 PM

I actually really like it - it'll look cool on the t-shirts.

mi|kshake~

Heavenly 19th March 2013 12:26 AM

I find the new logo... weird.
I dunno, the wing was kinda unique when it released for the 10th anniversary, now they just re-use it. Moreover, the shild shape could have been designed better, and the swirls are useless; they aren't even beautiful or something !
I think it's a non-cohesive logo, as someone says : it seems like they just put pieces together.

Personally, even in Namie's contest I didn't like the one they chose...but at least they were all nice looking lol

I like this logo. Cool that they used a fan's design.

Yumsushi 19th March 2013 03:57 AM

I honestly dont care if the logo is lame or whatever, however I don't know how they can call it an "inspiration" when its nearly identical to one fan's design. Is that what her team is now resorting to? ripping ideas off fans? how could they not give this poor guy credit?

Also, I've watched a few performances now, I wonder does Ayu hate Timmy or something? Maybe the logo should've been one wing on one side, and Timmy's horrendous clown face on the other

i still think the 10th anni logo is way better, with more details on the crown etc. maybe if the shield has more details this logo will look better?

and if avex doesn't have to buy from the fan, i think they at least should give the fan some benefits, like you said, a pair of tickets.

I agree. Then the fan gets recognized by name. Here it is pretty half assed - they should at least name the fan. In my eyes, that's the decent thing to do considering that this logo will be printed on tour goods that they will be making money off of.

Andrenekoi 19th March 2013 05:19 AM

^ Well, fans rip CDs, DVDs and upload that in internet. For free.

But I agree they could at least credit the guy.

i dont really like the logo because it is so similar to AT2008. and i totally dun understand what does the one wing signify. :(

the logo itself, its ok. but i prefer the logo on the Fans voting page.

Does anyone know if reseller shops sell single tickets, or is it only in pairs? Thanks

Andrenekoi 19th March 2013 08:40 PM

The logo is similar to 10th anniversary to construct the idea of continuity... the 20th anniversary most likelly will have a similar logo again.

And the 1 wing thing can be "understood" on Endless sorrow lyrics...

*hearT_Place* 21st March 2013 06:58 PM

Even though the artist is okay with not being compensated, that doesn't mean that avex and Ayu *shouldn't* compensate them in some way (if they haven't done so behind the scenes). A lot of time, effort, and money goes into making art, and to have that just ripped off (sorry...used as "inspiration") is...not cool. As someone who wants to eventually be able to make a living off of her artwork, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Even just being credited would be fine; exposure is really important to an artist trying to get people to notice their work. It's one thing if Ayu and her creative team were inspired by multiple fanmade logos, but really...at least give the artist credit.

There are a number of very detailed threads in the Ayu-chat forum. They should have all of the information you need. :) The info really hasn't changed and there are always tons of tickets available so I wouldn't even worry.

YUKARI 25th March 2013 04:05 PM

So, I got my tickets for Saitama's shows on 4.13 and 4.14 from 7/11. They are both A gate, 200 level, 10-15 rows. Quite sucky as I hoped for arena :(

vnovogra 25th March 2013 05:40 PM

I have a horrible problem... my friend bought my ticket for me because she is in Japan now and when the ticket was issued they put her name on it... is there any way for me to use it??? do you think they will check it??? Really???? I got so worried... I was on arena tour 2008 and 2009 and there was no name anywhere... I also had a similar problem when trying to order tickets for Skytree throught the same friend. You must bring the credit card when coming with the name of the person that paid... and it must be issued in Japan only... wtf??? XD

she also told me that they checked her ID with the same ticket type on an AKB48 concert...

SURREAL__RAINBOW 25th March 2013 05:54 PM

There are so many ways of purchasing tickets and they all work in different ways, it gets pretty confusing!

Since one person can purchase more than 1 ticket (if the person was a TA member in this case), it would have that person's name on all the tickets. But obviously you can't duplicate yourself and use all the tickets at once, they go with friends, or usually those extra tickets end up at the reseller shops!

I've bought tickets from the reseller shops with other people's names and it worked just fine. I also sold one of the tickets that I purchased to one of my friends and it was fine as well.

I think AKB has its own way of selling tickets... or whatever. Their fans are scary, so I'm not surprised if they wanna see their ID xD They might also try to buy many tickets and sell them for a LOT of money since they know many people want to see them, so yeah.

saigodansu 30th March 2013 04:59 PM

It's a fake. One of her closest friends already confirmed to her fans on Facebook that this tour is in Japan only. Even the thing with tweeting a city people want it to go to was meant to be just cities in Japan, not Brazil, France, London and USA.

miki_beland 30th March 2013 05:04 PM

Ayu herself said it is ok to ask for cities outside japan

~angel*ayumi~ 30th March 2013 05:52 PM

Also a Japan only Tour wouldn´t be announced as biggest Tour of her career I think o.o
(I mean she has to top AT08 xD)

saigodansu 30th March 2013 07:03 PM

Every tour of her career after the 1st has been announced as the biggest and best ever. But her friend's message that's on both his and Ayumi's Facebook pages he answered a fan saying this tour was only in Japan.

spanishfan 30th March 2013 08:30 PM

^Can you link that answer?

Ayu told it's ok if people want to ask for any place in the world, that doesn't mean anything but I think if many people ask for one place she might think about making concert there.

Many people asking for the same place via twitter still won't get Avex to lose money on renting a stadium in a foreign country, they will say and have Ayumi say anything for publicity purposes, but they are not a company willing to lose money on renting a venue so that a few dozen people tweeting or even a few hundred can get a tour to come to their country.

I would take that with a few grains of salt. Both avex and Ayu tend to exaggerate things. "This is the best album I've ever made" or "This is the biggest tour yet" are something we've heard so many times :) While I am still hoping that she'll eventually tour other countries as well the only thing that is certain is that the first leg of the tour will cover Japan only and that we don't know whether there will be another one or not.

Andrenekoi 31st March 2013 12:36 AM

Oh my God... Ayu fans stalking her friends! This must be the most annoying fanbase ever! >___<

Annoying AND stupid... he is her friend. He doesn't work with her. He is not fully aware of her schedule. ¬¬

saigodansu 31st March 2013 01:33 AM

I think what he said is as of present. For the tour now is really in Japan only. But whether or not it will become a tour around asia is another thing. After all, he's not her tour crew and does not represent her nor her team in anyway.

I don't think you realise that as her friend, if it were to be an Asia tour or not, he is in no position to confirm. I doubt it's going to be an Asia tour, but I can imagine he would get in all sorts of trouble if he went around announcing un-announced news etc... to people on Facebook.

Mirrorcle Monster 1st April 2013 02:49 PM

I think she has all the tour already planned, and now she only has to include the winning songs there. For example, it is easy to include Dearest instead of SAKURA in a ballad section. I think the concepts are there, now she only has to choose the songs. If she has a great rock number planned for Bye-bye darling for example, but people choose Because of You, it probably isnt that hard to adapt the concept.

mizuki-7 1st April 2013 02:53 PM

^
^
I think all the concept about this show was already prepared ! and TA poll is finished since several weeks I believe and considering she has already planned to sing also some songs of Love again she will just add some songs here and there who fits with the thematic IMO

I think this poll is mostly for encore performances, because everything's already planned and she always changes encore set-list during her tours, because this section of the concert doesn't require much preparation. So I guess she'll sing few different songs in each city during encore.

I wouldn't be surprise if the old performance of those voted songs get recycled. After all, it's a 'BEST' live lol... Or maybe a simple theme like POM.

They don't go on sale until the end of June but it's not like you need to be in Tokyo to buy them.

hopefully they don't have the fanclub priority booking for her tour tickets in singapore like they did for namie's tour. am saving up so would be devastated if all the best seats get sold out before i even get a shot at them >.<

saigodansu 2nd April 2013 06:17 AM

^ There's no tour date for Singapore. How would seats sell out?
